Luxurious lakefront home with 750' of spectacular frontage on Great Pond

A luxurious estate, complete with classic guest cottage, featuring 750' of private lake frontage in the heart of the Belgrade Lakes. Western exposures ensure spectacular sunsets, and the largest open water views on Great Pond can be enjoyed from the 500 sq ft dock, the fire pit, the expansive deck and screened in porch as well as nearly every room in the house. A huge chef's kitchen with center island, walk in pantry, breakfast bar, dining table and wine refrigerator connects with a spaciousfamily room. A great room with floor to ceiling windows and featuring a hand-crafted stone fireplace, plus a cathedral ceiling dining room, home gym, kids playroom, home office are just a few of the highlights.

The master suite has a private balcony, separate dressing room, and a master bath featuring an enormous glass-blocked double shower (with lake views) as well as a jacuzzi tub and dry sauna. It also connects to an alcove bedroom (suitable for younger children) as well as an expansive home gym.

A catwalk with glass half-height walls provides dramatic views of the lake and connects the master suite to two large lakeview bedrooms with king beds and a spacious full bath with shower and tub.

The first floor guest wing contains a second master, with king bed, spectacular lake views and a full bath, as well as two other bedrooms, one with en suite full bath and the other two sharing a jack & jill bath with the first floor office.

There are hardwood floors throughout, and tasteful decor, but designed for relaxed lakeside living. There is central air and wifi, as well as a 3 car garage with EV charging station. Outside, you'll find a spacious deck for outdoor dining or relaxing, a gas grill, as well as a screened in porch to enjoy the outdoors when there's inclement weather. There's a spacious lawn for kids' games, and a fire pit for late-night campfires and s'mores. Relax or fish for bass off the enormous main dock, take out one of the kayaks, or take a dip in the crystal clear water and swim out to the float.

Oh, and there's also a classic 2 bedroom log cabin guest house, with its own screened in porch, private dock, stone fireplace, kitchen, living room and full bath. The guest house has all the same conveniences and amenities as the main house, but offers complete privacy and the perfect setup for a young family. Visitors arrive thinking they'll want to stay in the luxurious bedrooms of the main house, and inevitably they wind up arguing over who gets to stay in the guest house. The guest house dock is in a calmer, shallower cove than the main dock. It has a swim float of its own, and is perfect for younger swimmers or waders.

Boat rental is available separately (either from us or arrange your own); we'll provide the dock space. Great Pond has a gas station at the main marina, and numerous public docks for boat rides into the village. There's also a locally famous restaurant with its own dock where you can either dine on your boat, or out on the lawn while listening to live music under the stars.

We have a cleaning service that comes in before and after each stay to ensure that everything is sanitized and ready for you to come and enjoy, and we are available to answer questions and make sure everything is perfect while you enjoy the Maine summer!
