Luxe Retreat with Stunning Outdoor Living Area, Kitchen, Custom Pool, Firepit

House was very clean and spacious, and the pool/outdoor area was great!! Great way to keep cool even in this intense summer heat. Nice location too, close to lots of hikes and Palm Springs

We enjoyed the home and it exceeded our expectations. The home itself was beautiful, spacious and had every amenity you could ask for. The pool however was freezing cold and we even paid to have it heated. We followed every instruction and even flagged to the pool guy but the pool heater still did not work. It was 95 degrees outside and the pool was freezing. Even if the pool pump did work, you CANT heat both the hot tub and pool at the same time. So note that if you would like both heated, one will always be chilly

Overall a very nice property, well stocked home in quiet neighbourhood with a sunny, southern exposure. Outdoor patio area is well set up but tables, counters, chairs, etc. could use a cleaning/wipe down as part of pre check in cleaning. Shower is much hotter in the second bathroom compared to the ensuite shower. After two days into the stay, the heater for the pool/spa failed to work properly. Vascasa 24/7 support was called a number of times and we were told a service tech would contact us to arrange a repair which never happened and the problem was never resolved. Very disappointing.

Was very happy when we saw the house when we arrived at 2:00 hoped to get in a little early as it was completely available but was not allowed to access the property until exactly 4:00 . So our second impression was not very good. Once we did get in our initial thought was this was exactly what was advertised. Very clean and very comfortable but then things got funny. Here are some of examples. Pool was supposed to be cleaned on Friday, we arrived on Friday it was filthy. Fire pit didn’t work BBQ had to be coerced to work BBQ light didn’t work Finding lights outside were very complicated Lights in house were completely ridiculous could it all made no sense. Tv and audio seemed to have potential and I am very good at that stuff but way to may remotes and way to complicated. Water pressure in second bathroom horrible and water only gets Luke warm. Microwave does not work properly. Overall would give it a c- but with a few fixes could easily be an A. Have been at several vrbos and was my least favorite.

The person sent to fix it walked right in to the house without knocking or ringing the doorbell. My wife was just out of the shower. He spoke broken English so not sure who he was at first. Once initial issues addressed we really enjoyed our time there. The hosts provided fully stocked kitchen essentials and entertainment options. Shower was amazing and lovedthe private pool and hot tub.
