Luxe, Newly Built, Gulf-Front Home on 1.5 Acres with Private Beach Boardwalk

We loved staying at this house as we had 15 people and had plenty of room and a fenced in back yard. Close enough to the beach that it was not bad taking our wagons and toys.

Great 2nd trip to this property. We had a very serious storm Saturday morning that caused some issues, but nothing the property management could have done anything about. They were responsive to my calls and texts. I would not hesitate to stay here a 3rd time.

The house was beautifully decorated and very clean. Theview was amazing.

The house was perfectly located and had everything you needed! Large enough for big groups and nice it had a bathroom in every bedroom. Small issue with the exhaust flap on the outside of the master bedroom. Due to high winds it was very noisy. The management company attempted to have it fixed but couldn’t get the part to fix it. Management company needs to take a walk through of the property and make repairs of items that need attention- dirty air filters, nails on boardwalk to beach, gates in yard, exhaust flaps just to name a few. We enjoyed our stay!

Truly a relaxing, peaceful property.

Overall it was Great. It Accommodated everyone comfortably and plenty of space. Only 13 miles to the strand. The bad part was the porch door did Not open easy!! Had to use the master bedroom door to get on the balcony. There’s a WIFI sign on and PW sign but no one was able to sign in and the TV was unavailable to sign on to watch. But we weren’t there to play on phones and watch tv. Great family time

We had a fantastic stay at this beach house! The home is beautifully maintained and offers all the amenities needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. It’s especially great for families with small children, as there are plenty of thoughtful touches throughout. The location is ideal, just a short walk to the beach, and the surroundings are peaceful and scenic. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend this property to others!

We had a great stay at Sunrise beach house. House is new and beds are very comfortable. There were a few minor issues that will be reported to management. Everyone wished the house was a little farther from the road, but otherwise great.

Our family had a wonderful vacation in the Sunrise Beach House. The house is very nice, well equipped and has a great view of the gulf. The home hd plenty of room for our large family.

The views were amazing and each room having their own bathroom was great! Definitely would love to stay here again!

Perfect place to stow away for a long weekend! Beach does have vehicle access but you can walk just a few more feet to where vehicles aren't allowed. The house has almost everything you would need (besides a grill) to spend your entire time there! It has a cart to bring all the toys and cooler to the beach across the boardwalk. It has beach towels! It has floaties! I would definitely stay here again.

This home was beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed for a group of 12. On a section of public beach where you can drive on but just a little to either side are areas where no driving is allowed. The host had plenty of beach toys, chairs, canopy, etc for use. Loved the outdoor shower as well. The house was well stocked with linens, towels, kitchen equipment, and pretty much everything else you could need. Amazed that there was a restroom in every bedroom! We would definitely return!

We booked, paid for, and even confirmed this house was ready for our arrival prior to traveling to Galveston, only to find out it was under construction, inhabitable, and unsafe for us to stay in for even an hour let alone the 6 nights we paid for. This house had exposed electrical wiring from electrical outlets, one shower/rest room had the sheetrock completely removed and exposed plumbing, there was tons of water damage and mold as a result. There were several dehumidifiers throughout the house which made it difficult to walk around in the house. Our vacation was ruined and I spend 3 days trying to get VRBO and Vacasa to rectify our situation but did not receive even a remotely acceptable resolution and still haven't.

I booked a trip to Galveston, Texas, in May 2024 through Vacasa. A week before our check-in date, a hurricane hit the city. Concerned for our safety, I contacted Vacasa to assess the damage. They assured me they would update me the next day, but despite daily follow-ups, I was ignored. Given the lack of communication, I contacted VRBO, the booking platform. They agreed it was unsafe to travel, refunded their service fee, and suggested the host should refund the trip cost. However, VRBO couldn't enforce this and advised me to contact Vacasa again. Despite informing Vacasa of the situation and my decision not to travel, I was ignored. On the Monday of our check-in week, I received check-in instructions, disregarding my safety concerns. The power was still out in the city. It appears Vacasa ignored my concerns, hoping I would make a dangerous journey through several cities under a state of emergency. This would have placed my family, including elderly and young members, in a perilous situation. I am requesting Vacasa to refund my money as they continue to ignore my concerns. Desired Resolution: A full refund of the reservation cost. Thank you for addressing this urgent matter.

Location

Beautiful beach house on Jamaica beach. Great layout, each room had its own full bathroom. Kids room was great to keep them entertained. Fully equipped, will not pack so much next time. Will definitely be rebooking.

I'd give 10 stars if I could. BEAUTIFUL home. Absolutely everything we needed. No skimping anywhere. No long list of things to do before leaving. Great beach access. This is the best beach house we've ever stayed at. We want to come back in the winter !
