We loved our stay at this home so much we booked it again! Gorgeous views. Beautiful home with plenty of space for family to spread out and have fun.

Amazing home. This was our second stay and it was wonderful. Lots of room and our teenage grand children loved the freedom of the bunk room. Plenty of swimming and kayaking on the lake as well. This is an exceptional property and we easily agreed on a 5 star rating. Being fair though, a set of proper pots, pans and cookware is needed. Those available were mismatched orphans. Likewise additional flatware (forks and spoons) would be great. Those available were adequate at best. Also, as has been mentioned in other reviews, this great property has one queen bed and one double. A king bed or two additional queens would be better than having guests sleep in the children' bunk room. Still a 5 star though.

Great house, excellent location and loved our second stay here. Looking forward to returning.

Beautiful property! The location is incredible and the home was even nicer than the pictures. We wished the upstairs bedrooms had king beds or at least 2 queens, but either way we will definitely be back!

We had to be in Lake Toxaway for work so it was not a pleasure trip but that view made it feel like we were on vacation in the afternoons after work !

This is our third time staying here, and each time is as good as the last. Beautiful home, serene setting, and a great setup for two families!

My family travels to Lake Toxaway once a year and we love the area. It was our first time to Casa de Yayo. The house itself is great. And the view of the lake is spectacular. The house was not clean (Vacasa offered to come and clean, however we did not want the disruption since we had just arrived). The house could use an instruction book covering things like light switch system, overriding the programs on the thermostats, how to use the sound system, etc. We thought it could be stocked better (e.g. no tissues, partially used roll of paper towels with no back up, better organization of kitchen and supplies checklist, at least two more Adirondack chairs on patio, etc.). Greater potential here with a little more effort.

This is a nice house and it was clean. The stairs are quite steep going downstairs, so if you have bad knees be careful.

This house was beautiful, and in a very quiet area. I would definitely stay at this location again.

House is very nicely furnished & well-kept. Located in a wonderful area with reasonable access to many restaurants & activities.

Cleaning not top notch. Mostly very clean except windows and covered patio. The most concerning was that that the garbage was piled high in every garbage bin!!!!!!! No garbage from garage had been emptied. Trash sack piled high, No room for our trash. A photo was taken and sent. Quick reply stating the problem was noted. All else fantastic

I loved that the house was big enough for our family, but the cleanliness and safety lacked big time! Hair on the beds and showers, trash on the floor, trash in the bins from previous tenants. Stained linens and bed sheets with blood.

This is a beautiful home and well decorated. We were very comfortable and enjoyed out stay very much. Such a nice property and home. However there were so minor shortcomings I would not expect a home of this quality and value to have. 1. No information folder or binder of the property and local area; place to see, things to do, places to eat out. 2.There were 30-35 trash bags in the garage. They had been there awhile, because it smelled. 3. Handle in guest shower was not attached and came off. Left on the counter. 4. White chair on the patio was broken. 5. The candles (3) on the upper deck were burned out and unusable. 6. The front porch and upper deck needed to be blown off. Lot of debris and trash. I removed the trash.

some basic things I thought the property could improve on: fireplace (even fake gas logs would be nice) firepit on back patio king beds in both upstairs bedrooms large tv over the fireplace I figure the owner knows this and its his/her personal preferences, but most renters would appreciate these small upgrades. it is a nice house with outstanding view and we enjoyed our stay!

This property was beautiful inside and out! Very peaceful and relaxing. Everyone enjoyed the canoe and kayak. Thank you!
