Luxe getaway with private heated pool, patio, and mountain views - walk to park

Enjoyed this home during our short stay in this quiet neighborhood.Easy check-in and checkout. Home was clean.We enjoyed the pool and heated as requested.We needed maintenance for a small problem and management was on top of this and fixed immediately. Only suggestion is to have ice cube trays since ice maker did not work.Otherwise enjoyed our stay here. Thank you.

House was clean and ready. Very spacious and had all the necessary amenities. Would use again.

Beautiful AZ getaway! Pool was amazing. House has a living room & sitting area, plus a very large kitchen so lots of room for our family to spread out. Very safe, well kept neighborhood. We would absolutely stay here again!

We arrived to find the home sparkling clean. Upon settling in we found everything that we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped with dished, small appliances, and all the necessary utensils. Soaps and plenty of fresh towels were provided. The king sized bad was comfortable and we enjoyed lounging on the patio furniture by the heated pool. All in all a great place to stay in a great location. We would definitely stay at desert gem again!

The finishes on the interior of the property are nice and the house was very clean for us upon arrival. The house was very poorly stocked with items like dishwasher detergent and condiments though. Vacas leaves what they call a welcome package with dishwasher detergent, paper towels, and a couple trash bags. It's really wastefully for the guest to buy an entire box of dishwasher detergent and condiments like ketchup that we couldn't use up in 1 week. We weren't even left enough trash bags to make it through the week. There were no napkins or even tissue so you have to buy your own or blow your nose with toilet paper. Disappointing to have to buy items like trash bags or feel like you have to ration them on your vacation but even more annoying is all of the errands it caused because we realized we couldn't ration it enough and then had to go to the store for more.

House was good, no pool cover so lots of heat was lost. Overall good experience.

The Desert Gem is in a great neighborhood with off street parking and even garage parking was a plus. This home was warm, inviting and had all of the amenities we were looking for. Comfortable and cozy furnishings. Peaceful and relaxing outside living space by the beautiful pool. Great restaurants nearby! Close to McDowell mountain park with great trails for biking and hiking. And it was a short walk to a park for Pickleball and tennis! The Desert Gem was a perfect place for a long weekend get-away!

Location of house was great and was clean. Beds were uncomfortable, but we managed. Communication was poor, no response to early check in request and pool heat took 3 days to get to a swimming temp (our last day), even though we payed for it 3 days in advance (as was instructed) so it had enough time to heat up. Requested refund, but no response from management team.

We had a wonderful time. Appreciated the heated pool. The kids loved it.
