Lux Muskoka Cottage Huntsville

We had a wonderful stay. Everything in and around the property was as it appeared in the listing pictures. We really enjoyed the open concept and fully updated kitchen, the arcade room, and the fully screened in porch and bbq area. Having a large laundry room and hooks to hang items on was handy for both the kids' and the dog's gear. There was some wear and tear to the flooring and fixtures in the property, but it did not interfere with our stay.

The property was amazing, the home very clean and host great to deal with. I provided some direct feedback on little things that this new property would benefit from, in my opinion. I understand that it takes time to acquire every little thing, like dish towels & rags and that they're easy oversights. The host has undertaken to take care of these. The sofa is dreamy comfortable. There is so much space. We were two couples and didn't feel we were stepping over each other. Don't forget your streaming service password if you're planning to watch shows or movies. There were a lot of deer flies so we didn't spend time outdoors. The BBQ needs to be fixed. For now, assume that the left side of the BBQ is working. I would definitely stay there again. This property is 20 minutes to everything. There is a lot of wildlife nearby.

This house was absolutely stunning and comfortable for the purpose of our trip. The screened in porch was an absolute game changer because of the only downfall ... BUGS! We wanted to enjoy the fire pit but could not. Both days, the deer flies and mosquitoes were so bad. We had our puppy with us, and got eaten from just standing out to let him pee. I tried to go for a walk, but it's just the area. We stayed for 2 nights while at a lacrosse tournament, and the kitchen was perfectly stocked to be able to cook healthy meals, and prepare to go snacks etc. Each room had a fan in it, which was awesome. Communication with the host was awesome, they were very responsive, and a pleasure to deal with.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spacious home. Had a mini family reunion with cousins nearby. The screened in porch was a must. The outdoor space in not conducive for outdoor games which could be a little difficult for the little ones wanted to play games outdoor. This looks like a fairly new area, so I’m guessing that the outdoor area is in the works.

Beautiful house. The description said fully stocked kitchen but it was not. No dish cloths or tea towels. I had asked if they had a blender and they said they did but they did not. The cooking pans were not great. No wood provided for the outside fire pit. But minor as we still had a great time This is a new place so hopefully this feedback helps
