Lux Home w/ Hot Tub+Fire Pit steps from Hyde Park

The home is beautiful and the front sitting room was comfortable. The location is perfect for access to Hyde Park.I appreciate an honest review as a consumer so I am sharing this so others can be aware.We unfortunately were not able to complete our stay due to multiple cleaning issues and no heat in the home. While the host did get an HVAC tech out at 8:30 PM on a Thursday, they were not able to fix the unit and the home was at 61 degrees so we had to vacate at 11 PM, which really put a damper on the remainder of our trip. While I understand that unexpected maintenance issues occur this is something that should have been determined prior especially considering the host has remote access to the thermostat. It was also not the only issue. The house had either not been cleaned prior to our stay or the cleaners used were not thorough. We found the rear of the house unlocked and the list of cons went on from there - dirty pillows, an unorganized linen supply, multiple burnt out lights, a very dirty air filter, a slippery rug, a shower drain full of hair, a smelly kitchen drain, a fireplace that barely worked, and a bedroom window screen that was just sitting in the room against a wall. It was clear that the property maintenance has not been a priority.There is also not much privacy downstairs. Several windows do not have window coverings and is easily viewable by the surrounding neighbors.I hope others have better experiences than we did.

Very cute townhome, comfortable, walking distance to shops, gas and restaurants. Comfortable beds. Jacuzzi was wonderful after long days of walking. Really enjoyed our stay! Communication was excellent. Thanks again we appreciate it.

The house was in the perfect location and it had everything we needed. We felt very at home.

Amazing location. Great place with plenty of space. Parking was easy. Owner was great in communication. We had a few cleaning issues but they were addressed. Other than that we had no issues.

Great place to stay in Boise. Hyde Park outside your door. Easy freeway access. Close to State Fairgrounds.

Cozy home away from home.

The property was perfect for our needs visiting Boise, and our friend who lives in town was literally 7 blocks away. Super convenient location, and great trip overall. One suggestion for the property is that each door hinge needs some WD-40. My wife hadn't stayed in a VRBO before, and when she heard a door creek in the middle of the night in a strange house, in a new city, she got freaked out. So maybe just hit those hinges before the next rental!

Being in Hyde Park was awesome. This property is clean and comfortable. Owners were very responsive. Will stay again.

Loved walking in the North End. Going to Hyde Park to eat. Close to town. Garage available, but easy parking on street. Nice back yard patio.

I stayed with friends at this VRBO for 6 days in August. The condo/home was just as pictured and nicely kept up with a particularly lovely & roomy kitchen with fully equipped cupboards and granite counters. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were spotless. The living area had lots of space and good television channel choices. We enjoyed watching some of the summer Olympics events while we were there. We really appreciated the convenience of being able to walk to good restaurants and fun shops just minutes away in Hyde Park, and enjoyed hiking into the foothills of Boise from Camel's Back Park just a few blocks in the other direction. The property managers were easy to communicate with regarding check-in, etc.. We had a wonderful stay in Boise.

Everything about this property was fantastic - we used to live in the area so it was fun to be back and this was the perfect spot for our family. You can’t beat the location and the home was clean, well maintained, and roomy enough for our family of 4. If you are visiting Boise, this is where you want to stay. We’ll definitely be back!
