Lush Pet-Friendly Home, Near Beach with Golf Cart, 4 Bikes

If you’re nervous about booking this house like I was—since we usually stay at beachfront properties—don’t be. It was even better than we hoped for. The house is absolutely adorable, and the golf cart and bikes made it the “best beach trip ever” according to our teenagers. Getting to Seaside Square with the golf cart was so easy.My husband and I especially loved having our coffee outside in the rocking chairs each morning.The only very minor suggestion would be for the kitchen. We noticed there was just one dishcloth and we couldn’t find an oven mitt or storage containers for leftovers. It certainly didn’t affect our stay, but those items might be helpful additions for future guests.

Perfect location for young families. Felt very secure and safe (no pool), and the kids loved the golf cart!

Walking distance to everything

Our dog, Mister Cotton felt right at home and the neighborhood was very dog friendly (met lots of dog walkers). It was easy to use the outdoor grille and outdoor fireplace, along with relaxing time on the front porch.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sugarwood Beach. Beautiful, clean home with a great layout for a family of five. Only issue was that the golf cart did not work properly; it did not have functioning brakes or working lights. The bikes were perfect for cruising to the beach.

Listed with golf cart, hour before we ck in got email saying golf cart was not available due to maintenance. Gave me $503 refund. Called company referred by management company, cost me $824 and didn’t have cart til next day. Garbage was full and AC never went below 70

Had to wash all sheets due to stains and they came clean when washed. No email notification until AFTER the no refund date. Deal directly with VRBO instead of Southern

Enjoyed our stay in this upscale, quiet neighborhood of Sugar Beach, just a short walk to the beach access. Home seems brand new and very clean; great sofas with plush down decorator pillows; great master bedroom suite with modern shower; loved the special switch in the bathroom to give a blue glow at night. Management company was very responsive to a minor issue. Had some intermittent internet problems, and learned that it is common in the Seagrove Beach area, as well as in many places on 30A. Loved being able to walk to dinner at Cafe 30-A and the Surfing Deer. Enjoyed cooking in-- kitchen was reasonably well-equipped. Only suggestion is to get more comfortable dining room chairs with better backs, and also have only one --or no--bench.
