Stayed May 20, 2026My husband and I were looking for a place to escape the city. This was it! The house was on top of a hill, overlooking a pasture. The owner did an amazing job of setting up several types of feeders to attract different types of birds. I had my coffee on the porch in the morning, then we rested there again in the late afternoon. The house was well decorated and comfortable. Even though the kitchen was small, it was designed to make it easy to cook a meal. Whether it was Fredericksburg, Stonewall or the wineries, everything was only about 20 minutes away. Hands down, I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Apr 8, 2026This place was perfect for our sister birthday trip. The house was clean and comfortable and decorated so cute. We loved that we could have the quiet of the country and just a short drive to where the action is. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Stayed Sep 14, 2025This was the perfect getaway for us. The home was spotless, comfortable, and cozy. The attention to detail was unmatched. I especially loved the homemade banana walnut bread, the nightlights throughout the home, the non-generic toiletries, and the wonderful, welcoming pups each morning on the porch. We felt at home, we got the rest we needed, and we were close enough to town to enjoy all that Fredericksburg has to offer. We will absolutely stay here again.

Stayed Sep 5, 2025This house is very cozy and well stocked. The owners added nice personal touches - banana bread, wine, chocolates by the beds! The views were beautiful and the location was excellent. It felt remote, but was only about 15 minutes from town. Loved all of the bird feeders - really enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching th birds.Great stay!

Stayed Jun 18, 2025Perfect location, great place to relax at the end of the day. We loved watching the deer. The guest house is completely stocked with everything you need. Beds are super comfy and they have plenty of towels. I would definitely stay here again!!!

Stayed Mar 14, 2025We really enjoyed our stay. The owners were very nice and helpful. However, we experienced a wild fire and had to evacuate the house and was never notified what was going on. We were not there at the time of evacuation but there was no communication to let us know what was going on. We had to find out when we tried to go back to the house and was told by police we were not allowed. I think absolute charm could have done a better job with communication. Thankfully everything was fine and I definitely would stay there again.
