Lovely waterfront home with private, sandy beach and mooring on Lagoon Pond

Really beautiful, lovely home right on Lagoon Pond on the OB side. This feels like staying in the home of an old friend, rather than a brand new vacation rental. The sunset views are amazing. The house rules do state no children under 5 and for good reason as the deck would not be a safe place to play for small children. The host and caretaker were both very communicative and accessible. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Gorgeous views onto Lagoon Pond. Warm water and a sweet little private beach. A very comfortable home with everything you need. Owner was very responsive. We had a lovely visit.

Our daughter summarized this first time rental for us: Dad, this is a 10 out of 10, we have to come back. And come back we will, because the house is beautifully situated on Lagoon Pond, a long stretch of private beach, and easy access to anything on the Vineyard. Although we spent most of our time there and on the water and private beach. And Ann is extremely attentive and responsive -- very much appreciated.

We had a relaxing vacation at this property. The house is comfortable and very well equipped. We enjoyed the water views from the deck and beautiful sunsets. The location is just perfect with a small private sandy beach on the lagoon. This was our first visit to Martha's Vineyard and we loved it!

This home was perfect for our family of 4 COVID getaway. It was VERY private with access to a private beach on the lagoon just steps from the home. The view from the deck was perfect, that is where we spent most of our time. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the deck and/or any window as the three bedrooms we used all had waterfront views. The house does not have central AC, but the fans provided by the owner kept us cool, but it is still very humid. However, the breeze on the deck was delightful. If you are looking for a private getaway, I would definitely recommend this home.

Fantastic location, right on the water. You have your own beach, nice deck with gorgeous views, and a lot of privacy. We rented kayaks and paddle boards for the week (Island Spirit Kayak deliver and pick up to/from your door) and we had so much fun in the lagoon. The water is relatively warm so the kids enjoyed swimming for a long time. The outside shower was a nice plus. The house is well stocked except only that you need to bring your own towels and bed linen. You are surrounded by trees so there are a number of bugs. We had a wonderful time and would certainly recommend this house to others.

Amazing location, luv'd kayaking and swimming in the lagoon! Best part of the day was having morning coffee on the deck overlooking the tranquil water. I would high if highly recommend! Thanks for letting us stay at your amazing place!

This was our second year at this wonderful home on Lagoon Pond. Right on the water with its own small beach, this is a great spot for the family: the lagoon is perfect for kayaking, secluded and the water is very calm. Great view of the lagoon, the surrounding area and delightful sunsets to watch from the porch. Located away from the crowds, but with easy access to Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven by bike or car to the north, and to the beaches and quiet areas up island. The owner and caretaker were both readily accessible and very helpful. Highly recommended!

Our whole family immediately felt at home and comfortable. We loved being just steps away from the beach out back. At night, we took in the stars and the water from the inviting deck. We definitely recommend and hope to come back!
