Lovely villa with swimming pool, close to town center (restaurants, supermarkets).

Lovely property, very clean and comfortable. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating. Good location close to Cotignac village, but be warned it’s a climb uphill if you walk into the village.

We - four adults and two dogs - loved the cottage and Cotignac. The cottage is in a secluded cul-de-sac with incredible views of the countryside. It's the best-equipped rental home any of us have stayed in - Marc and Sylvie, who are friendly and kind hosts, have thought of everything (and more!). The way the cottage and the garden are laid out means you can always find a spot to gather or get some peace and quiet - it's bigger than the photos suggest. The pool was pretty cold in May, but usable and wonderfully refreshing after a day walking in the sunshine. It's about a 10-minute walk down a hill to the centre of Cotignac, which is a fantastic little town with plenty of restaurants and shops, and a great market on Tuesdays. It's also a great base for exploring the area (the gorges and lakes in Verdon are a must). We stayed for a week, but it wasn't nearly enough.

A charming cottage in a quiet location but still fairly close to the centre. Very friendly hosts. The cottage is very well equipped for self catering .....cups , plates, utensils etc. Washing machine, tumble drier and ironing facilities. Also music, tv, books games and toys for entertainment. The garden offers an amazing view of the surrounding area, It has 2 sets of table and chairs outside (along with another 2 inside), sun loungers, 2 bbq's (gas & traditional) a pool, although small ,ideal for a quick dip. Our only negative was that we felt the stairs could benefit from a stair rail as slightly tricky for toddlers or elderly. Never the less still an excellent property and hosts.

First, the house itself is extremely comfortable, practical and lovely. The property manager was excellent. Second, the location. The village of COTIGNAC is a true gem. It has a wonderful mix of cafes, shops and galleries. The are several wineries close that are both fun to visit and great source of great wine. This is THE place!

The house had everything we needed. Lovely village. Outside space was limited but well laid out.

Everything was fine at the villa apart from no basic supplies ie.water when we arrived. They knew our arrival time was going to be late 11pm so did expect at least water in the fridge. We left water for the next occupants. Apart from that we had a fantastic time. Great restaurants in the village .

Compact, well located,

We stayed for 10 days with the number of people ranging from 5 to 7 during that time. The house has all that you need for the number of people. The location has a wide range of activities either through walking or going out for excursions by bike or car. The village has all that you need for self catering, with other larger centres within easy reach. The views from the house are wonderful, the layout lends itself to enjoying these views and there are cooler areas to retreat to if it gets too hot. The pool is just large enough to cope with very hot weather (we had temperatures up to 36 degrees Celsius). The owner is very approachable, and there is a person locally who was available and helpful with settlingin and any questions on a day to day basis.
