Stayed Aug 1, 2024We had a family group of 11, including my four grandchildren, there to celebrate a landmark birthday. I had lived in Hillcrest in the past and had hoped to find a place there, since it's so central to everything. Amir's house was perfect! First, it's beautiful, just as the photos show. And he is a most accommodating and welcoming host. It's easy walking distance to eateries, cafes, and just a short drive to Balboa Park (the zoo, museums, kids' train ride and carousel); to Petco to see the Padres; to La Jolla to stroll past the seals; to Coronado beach and the Hotel Del; to the Sunday morning Hillcrest Farmers Market. Parking is easy in the driveway, codes allow easy entry, beds are very comfy, bathrooms are lovely and spotless, the a/c keeps the entire house comfortable. The pretty yard beckoned, but we really didn't have time to take advantage of it. Do yourself a favor when you come to San Diego and stay at Amir's wonderful place. It's now part of our lifetime memories!
