Lovely Studio w / private entrance

This is a lovely private room with a separate entrance in the basement of the hosts home in a quiet neighborhood. The host was welcoming and very respectful of our privacy. The room had everything we needed for our stay. There was plenty of street parking and the location is close to great restaurants and shops with easy access to everything in the East Bay.

Our host was extremely welcoming. The accommodations were perfect for our purposes. The facility was well-equipped with amenities that made the stay even better than we anticipated. For example, there were more than enough outlets for all our electronics, and plush robes and slippers.

Laura’s “lovely studio” is just that. Great location for walking to Solano ave with coffee, bakeries, restaurants and shops. Clean. Comfortable, responsive host. Thoughtful touches like lights in both sides of bed, softrst terry robes ever! We are and hope to continue to be frequent guests!!

It was spacious, with many new amenities, and has a great location, only a block from Solano Street with stores (including a great bakery) and a coffee shop. Gracious hosts. Will definitely go back!

It was the perfect place for us to stay. Great location. It was peaceful, very comfortable, clean, and spacious.

This is a very comfortable, spotless studio that meets every traveler's needs. The owners have thought of everything you will need for your stay, including cold water in the fridge upon arrival, fluffy robes, slippers, heaters/fans, an umbrella, basic kitchen needs, books and more. The grocery store one block up and one block over has a decent prepared foods section, so you will not need to eat out if you don't want too. I arrived during a September heatwave in Berkeley, and the room was cool and comfortable. The host, Laura, is so gracious. You will not be disappointed!

This was a great place for me to stay four nights while visiting the Berkeley and Kensington areas. Solano Avenue is one block away and has just about any food you could ask for. You can even walk to downtown Berkeley since it is relatively flat area and less than 2 miles away. Laura was great and check in and check out was extremely simple. Parking on Marin was easy. Overall, I highly recommend.

The space was lovely with a comfortable bed and easy access. Host was very nice with great communication. Only draw backs, hot water didnt last long enough for normal shower, and could hear heavy walking up stairs early in the morning. Fresh coffee and water in fridge was very nice, beautiful home and neighborhood. Overall it was a good choice.

Laura is a wonderful host who responded to our questions and requests promptly. We enjoyed our stay!

Our family loves to stay here when we visit the Bay Area. Clean and comfy and great location. We'll be back!

Just what we expected and needed. Great location

We had a bedroom/sitting room and a private bathroom. No kitchen, but microwave, mini fridge,coffee maker, and electric kettle. Close to grocer3. Hosts were very accommodating. We enjoyed our time in Berkeley.
