Lovely single family home in Historic Lewes!

Perfect place and location for our group of 5.Very clean and everything that we needed including a grill and utensils. Air conditioning worked well and bedroom fans too. Smart TV with WiFi was great. Very modern kitchen. Parking for 1 in front and ample free street parking just outside. Close the everything in Lewes. Great starting point for daily walks to the beach or down Pilot town Rd.

The property was so quaint and well furnished . It was just a walk away from many activities.The restaurants were excellent. Friendly neighbors tending their gardens walk to the park

The grandkids started calling this perfect little spot the Green House. We enjoyed our stay so much…clean, close to so many things to do, comfortable and well stocked. We made some great memories here.

The house is on a quiet and visually pleasant street with friendly neighbors. Drinking coffee on the front porch in the morning and listening to the birds was lovely. Somehow the photos really didn't do the house justice. It's tastefully decorated, and feels spacious even though it's not a huge house. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook a few meals. All of the furniture was notably comfortable, beds included (and we are admittedly judgy when it comes to beds). Outdoor shower is really convenient when returning from the beach. Close enough to town that you can walk to the shops and restaurants in under 10 minutes. On a bike it's just a few minutes. Also a block away from a park, which was nice for my kid. I'd say the only thing that gave me any anxiety was having a physical key to get in. We've become accustomed to rentals that have keypad locks so all we need to do is remember a code versus remembering to take a key every time we leave. Picking up the keys at the management office was a minor inconvenience, but everything was ready to go and the people were fast and helpful. All in all, this was a great house and we really enjoyed our stay!

We loved our time at 422 Paynter! The quiet street was perfect and a short walk to town. We rode our bikes to Johnny Walker beach (next to the ferry) and drove to Cape Henlopen State park. House was immaculate and well stocked. Great back yard and the bedroom set up was perfect for our family. Loved the laundry & half bath on the main floor. The outdoor shower was perfect for keeping the sand outside. It also has a lovely front porch, nice back deck & decent grill.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 422 Paynter was a newer house in Lewes. First time experiencing a new home for vacation. There were 4 adults and the accommodations were lovely. A much smaller house than what we usually rent, but generously appointed and equipped. Comfortable. In a very quiet but conveniently located to downtown which is what we like.
