Lovely Seabrook property with carriage house, yard, & child-friendly amenities

The hot tub would not get hot. We were unable to use it and i have tried to contact someone to help with a partial reimbursement for that amenity not working and have not been successful. I am very upset about that. The railing on our balcony was extremely dangerous and unsafe for the family. There was a lot of mold on the window seal by the bunk beds i had to clean as well as moldy garage so we couldn't park in there. The heater in the carriage (except the bedroom) did not work and was cold for my parents. Super frustrating. Also because we didn't book through Seabrook themselves, we were not allowed to use the pool! We payed so much to stay here and couldn't use the pool or the hot tub. Super frustrated.

Amazing house, amazing locations, effortless check-in process. The rooms were very nice and the loft above the garage was a fun time! The only negative experience we had was there was not many towels, trashbags, and toilet paper stocked for us to use. We stayed for 3 nights and had to wash towels every night to reuse for the following day.We loved our experience there and had a wonderful time! :)

Great location, less than 3 minutes walk to every restaurant and shop in Seabrook, easy walk to beach. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We will stay here again.

This was a great house for our family groups to gather! We enjoyed the location and amenities at the Sandcastle. We found everything to be clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

This house is clean and comfortable. It is in a great location, just around the corner from the sweet shop, the pizza restaurant, and the grocery store. The outdoor shower is great for cleaning off sandy feet after a walk on the beach.

House is smack dab in town within walking distance to everything! We had enough room to house 11 people comfortably!!!

We enjoyed staying in this comfortable house with hot tub. It's conveniently close to the shops and grocery store.

The house was perfect for our family to gather and enjoy. We found the guest services very responsive to any issues or questions that we had. We will be booking this property again. Quiet but very convenient to restaurants, shopping and the beach.

I am writing this review in the context of a Seabrook Rental- an upscale luxury seaside neighborhood. From this perspective the Sandcastle rental was adequate. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it. Overall state of home was very worn and needed updating (saggy couches, damaged dining room table). The smart TV had had it's remote lost and so it's features unusable. The furniture had to be rearranged to provide enough seating for our group (7 people) to view the screen. While the kitchen was well stocked there was no organization and was challenging to find items. Both the BBQ and the Hot Tub were not maintained and dirty. The BBQ was rusty, had not been cleaned and the ignitor did not work (no matches/etc provided), the Hot Tub had grime and slime around the jets which floated to the top when turned on- both were unusable during our stay. The location was close to the action but that only lead to loud people leaving the bars in the evening and early morning truck traffic for construction and restaurant deliveries (even before 7 am). One night was windy, expected for the WA beach but they way it hit the upper balcony adjacent to the Master bedroom made a loud howling noise. This was in addition to the loud heater and particularly the cold air returns. There were no quilts or comforters for the beds. The house had minimal natural light and insufficient lighting in the house. This was far from the comfy cozy stay at the beach we were hoping for.

The Sandcastle house was clean and inviting. It was well stocked with dishwasher soaps, paper towels, and trash bags. There were plenty of extra blankets for the night and plenty of beach towels for the hot tub. The hot tub fits 6 teens very well. The kitchen had a large crockpot that I used to serve hot apple cider. The laundry unit in the house was amply stocked with washer pods but I did not see any dryer sheets. I loved the master bedroom with the door to a balcony with table set to sit outside and enjoy fresh air with a blanket wrapped around you and a cup of coffee. The kitchen had a Kherig and a regular coffee maker. There were plenty of pots and pans, serving bowls, and utensils for all of our needs. The only item we needed but couldn’t find was a claw spoon to serve spaghetti. But that is an easy remedy for the owners. Thank you for the wonderful stay and top notch cleaning service prior to our arrival.

The Sandcastle was a wonderful setting for my 50th birthday weekend! The home is comfortable, roomy, well-equipped, and convenient. Access was simple, location is close to everything, and the furnishings were nice. Reading other reviews, I was concerned the hot tub would be in poor shape, but was not! Seabrook is such a treasure and so very festive for the Holidays! Lights, a parade, and friendly people everywhere. I hope to make this a regular trip for our family!

Lovely home. Perfect for a family, and with the added cottage it would fit a family with another couple added.

There was only 2 dishwasher soap packages. We needed to do one load after lunch and another after dinner. We were told to basically buy our own, overall that felt cheap. When we arrived the garbage disposal did not work, sink would backup. Called Vacasa, the agent did not have any suggestions, she called someone else and turned in a ticket to have someone come out. Later received a text on how to reset it, tried it how to reset, no luck. Then sink started to back fill, rettired rest and it worked. Light over kitchen island was out. Only one light bulb in unit over garage living was working, it was dim in this room,hard to read. No light switch for back door light or outside garage unit. Had to walk up and down stairs in the dark. No key to back door, for people staying the garage you had to walk to the front door to get in. Vacasa gave us access code for keyboxes on back door, code did not work. Finally whenwthe email with the access code did not work, called the Vacasa agent, she did not know why, she called someone else who said after entering access code you had to press the checkmark button. This was not idenfied to use but should have been on the email. The house was great but Vacasa and maintenance was not.

We found the Sandcastle to be a large comfortable house with many amenities. Everything we needed for cooking and serving a meal were at hand including a very powerful Weber grill. There was plenty of space and seating on the main floor and the bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs were good. The house was well positioned for strolling through the nearby shops. There were a few of downsides to property. One is that the address of the house is at back of the property. If you use a gps to get there, it takes you to the back of the house and it's not easy to get into the house from the back. At the back door there is a lockbox that should hold a key but it doesn't work with the code that was sent. There is a similar lockbox on the apartment over the garage but that doesn't work either. So after spending 15 minutes trying to open the boxes, we went around to the front and found a code lock which does work. That's a needless waste of time that is pretty frustrating. Also at the back of the house there is insufficient lighting to light the stairs on the back porch or the stairs to the apartment. Turns out there is a light for the apartment stairs but It took some searching to find the light switch. It was controlled by the light switch in the garage. That is a puzzling bit of wiring that was way inconvenient. Another bit of a downside is that the house takes up the entire yard leaving no space to gather outside. Nevertheless we enjoyed it and rated it 4/stars.

Location was great, and we'll stocked for a nice stay

We had a lovely stay at the Sandcastle! It was so close to the main downtown and was roomy enough for two families! The property does not come with access to the pool, but that was just a detail we missed in the description. Also the hot tub did get dirty fast, but we also had multiple people in it. Overall it was so lovely and clean and gorgeous!!
