Air conditioner window units are available in summer/fall months and ceiling fans are in most of the rooms. There are two different indoor porches on either side of the house to dine or relax in. There is an outdoor area for a fire and plenty of firewood. Richmond Pond is just a few miles away.

There is an apple orchard just across the street, and local attractions a 10 minute drive away like Tanglewood, Kripalu, Shakespeare & Company and the Norman Rockwell Museum.

There are two TV’s in the home (one in the living room with cable access and one in the bedroom that has a queen bed) and there is Unlimited WiFi.

At least 3 cars can fit in the private driveway. Pets are not allowed (exceptions can be made on a case by case basis.) This home has one small non-shedding dog living in it at times, so if you have allergies, please be aware of that.

Our family of 3 have started staying here every summer since 2020, and we look forward to it every year! We love the house; it has everything we need and some more. The 2 sunrooms provide plenty of space for breakfast (and other meals if raining), and for lounging. My son enjoyed playing the piano in the sunroom this year! Our favorite is the deck, which is spacious with plenty of seatings in the shade. There is a fire pit next to the house, and on a nice day you can roast some s'mores while enjoy the sunset. The house is clean and super comfortable and welcoming, kitchen is well-equipped, the den is comfortable for streaming shows and movies. wifi works great. We love the location of Richmond, which is a bit quieter than Lenox or Stockbridge, but still easy access to all the sights. Up the street is Bittersweet farm where there is a farm stand selling fresh produce; a bit farther there is Big Y, Stop n Shop, and Market 32. As always, Elizabeth is great with communications. The only sad part is our son is almost getting too old for the tree swing! That was his favorite for the past few summers. We look forward to returning to the Richmond Ranch next summer.

I have lost count of how many times we have stayed here over the last 3 years. We were just here for a week in August, and we returned for the long weekend in October for foliage. The house is clean, has everything that you'll need. The huge deck and 2 sunrooms look out onto the beautiful swamp at the back of the house. The kitchen is well-equipped, which makes it a breeze to prepare simple meals at the house rather than trying to beat the crowds at restaurants. Elizabeth made sure there is plenty of coffee beans for us. Communication with Elizabeth is a breeze; she is extremely responsive. We love the house location as there are plenty of sights nearby, and no shortage of hiking trails for foliage. We can't wait to return next summer.

We love this Richmond Ranch home and we keep returning year after year. I don't know what else to say in addition to my previous reviews. We love the Richmond area as it is less touristy and less traffic in the summer, as compared to Lenox/Stockbridge area, yet it is just as convenient to almost everywhere in the Berkshires. The house has everything you need, and very clean and spacious. We were there during a heatwave this year so we are grateful for the a/c. Elizabeth, as usual, is extremely prompt with responding. We look forward to our next stay there!

This is our third stay at Elizabeth's home in the past 15 months! I guess that tells you how much we enjoy staying here. As I have said in my previous reviews, the house is cozy and clean, and has everything you need. The view from the back deck is particularly beautiful in the Fall. And if you want to go apple-picking or get cider donuts, all you need to do is cross the street and Bartlett's Apple Orchard is right there. Elizabeth is always very quick in her responses. When I told her we wouldn't arrive until after dark, she left the front porch light as well as several indoor lights on for us so we wouldn't stumble in the dark. We look forward to staying here again next year.

We stayed at Elizabeth's home last summer and we were so happy to be able to return again this summer. Her home is so welcoming, and equipped with everything you will ever need. The living spaces are lovely; there is plenty of room to sit and relax. The deck is my favorite spot to hang out any time of day, but especially at sunset. We ate almost every meal out on the deck. Our son loves the tree swing at the front of the house. The location is fantastic; most touristy places are within a 15-20 minute drive. If you prefer to stay in, there are plenty of books, games, and TV streaming service to keep you busy all day. Elizabeth is very prompt with communications, and extremely knowledgable about the area so if you have any questions, she will have an answer for you in no time. We look forward to returning again in the future.

The house was fantastic. There was plenty of space for the entire family, and it had all the amenities of being at home, and the view was beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised at all it had to offer. The farm store across the street had delicious apple cider donuts, and it was very close to Richmod Pond for swimming. We were there during a heat wave and my only suggestion would be to put AC in the second bedroom. We would definitely return to this house!

Our family of 3 had a fantastic stay at the Richmond ranch house. The house is clean and very spacious. We love the huge deck where we ate our meals with a great sunset view. It was perfect for stargazing at night. House is well equipped. kitchen has every appliance you will need. There are picnic chairs, Bose bluetooth speaker, 2 TVs with streaming options, books, board games and puzzles. Our son particularly loves the tree swing. We stayed during a heat wave and the a/c units are more than adequate to cool the house during the day. In the evenings cool breezes cools down the house and there is no need for a/c. House location is great with most Berkshires sightseeing places within 15-20 minutes drive. Richmond pond is just down the street for swimming. Across the street and within a mile there are farm stores/farm stands that sell fresh produce. Otherwise there are multiple supermarkets in Pittsfield that are 10 minutes away We look forward to returning to the Richmond Ranch.
