Was as pictured. Could use updating of interior doors and painting refreshed on the walls. There was no air conditioning but the ceiling fans and window breeze helped. Didn’t realize it was above an active bar. Street parking can be a challenge. But overall I am pleased with my stay. The area was very walkable and the apartment was charming and the perfect size and set up for me. I would definitely stay there again. Host was responsive and thorough with communication.

Awesome place to stay. Very quiet and safe neighborhood. Very clean and maintained unit. Easy street parking about 2 blocks away. Great communication from Kia (host). Would definitely stay again if I go back to Ohio again to visit family.

Nice area of town. Very loud and Uncomfortable beds unfortunately. Cute apartment with necessary essentials. Felt safe and secure.

Cutely decorated place. Very clean and smelled amazing. Water pressure in shower was great! Just perfect for our girls weekend. Street parking sometimes required us circling the block a couple of times, but ended up not being too difficult. Enjoyed the neighborhood shops and places to eat - especially Barroco (Latin American food)

Beautiful place! Super cute decor and great location. Wish the parking situation was better as it’s street parking but there is only 2 spots out front due to the bus lane and they were always taken.

Loved this place. Pulled up and it was above an old bar. 1st reaction oh no. Walked inside and it was beautiful with a little balcony. Bar was cool and people were very friendly. Loved it

The host was very welcoming and an excellent communicator. The apartment is adequate for basic housing arrangements. It requires some significant TLC.

This property is run-down and in need of repairs. Parking is difficult. Placement of the beds in the second room makes it impossible to close the door. And the bathroom door doesn’t close completely. That being said, the location is good, check in and communicate were handled well, and the apartment was clean.

My family and I stayed here for two nights and was great. The host was super easy to communicate with and friendly. The space was clean, but a little, used. Broken bathroom door, broken closet door, some of the DIY showing wear and tear. We were in town for a college visit and to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and it was in a perfect spot for both. There were a lot of things that have been mentioned before like the noise level and restaurant smell that really weren't that bad. Maybe some Glade Plug in's would help. Also, attention to small things like making sure the soap dispenser has enough soap and that there is plenty of extra TP. Some of the decorative pillows are feather so be aware of that if you have any allergies. Overall we had a great time and it was perfect for what we needed. Would stay again.

Great location & communication! Only hiccup is that the door to the second bedroom didn't close due to the extra bed.

Went to show at The Roxy, this is a cute area with a lot of shops and food. The place is easy to find/access and it was clean and spacious. If we ever go back up for a show, we will stay here!

Overall it was good. Hard to find, but the good folks at Lakewood Tavern helped us out!

This apartment is the worst vrbo I have ever stayed in. Very cheap and happy and a loud, smell bar below that comes through to the unit. Was not able to stay it was so bad. Mis-represented in the ad.

I really enjoyed this space, it’s in a really lively neighborhood, so many friendly people having a good time right downstairs. The property was clean and matched the photos. The communication with the property manager was perfect! Our Ubers were driving just past it and the manager helped us find it! Perfect place for late nights & calm morning.

Great location to concert venues (Mahall's/Roxy) and local restaurants. A lot of space inside, and a really cool balcony to relax on.

Upon arrival, it is very had to locate the unit as there are no pictures & only tells you street parking. The unit looked as if it has never been cleaned or wiped down, recent stains on rugs and blankets, a weird odor on the couch. We found eyelashes in the bed sheets & neither of us wear eyelashes. We also found chewed up gum left on the ironing board. Half of the lights in the bathroom do not work, despite the note left to reset the lights. The entryway ceiling was also missing. The unit is above a bar, which was fine for me, but there is no mention of this anywhere on VRBO. When addressing these issues with the owner, she stated she doesnt own the building so some of this is not her responsibility. This place should not be posted on VRBO until these issues are addressed.

Everything was clean and as comfortable as any other rental I’ve stayed in. Several restaurants, shops, and bars are within easy walking distance. The apartment is in a state of mild disrepair though - a few things need a little cosmetic TLC. Parking sucked (I drove around the block several times looking for a place to park and ended up on the opposite side of the main street ). The pin on the listing shows the rental a lot or two off of the main street, but it literally overlooks Madison Ave, which would be nice in warmer weather, considering the balcony. The listing also said “house,” which this definitely is not. Additionally, despite the request, I cannot write an accurate review without mentioning the bar noise from downstairs (regardless of how often it has been mentioned before) which was audible from the time I arrived in the afternoon, mostly in the front room. I wouldn’t omit something good from a review just because people had already mentioned it either. Overall, the price made this worthwhile.

The place was clean cozy and cute! Just what we needed! We didn’t even notice the music from the bar downstairs. The host provided everything we needed

Enjoyed the Stay

The bar directly below plays very loud music until 2:30 am.... every night. Not ambient....LOUD, and thumping. Very dim lighting, dusty, broken bathroom door, kitchen cabinet face missing. Dingy overall.

Our stay was wonderful! Kia was a fantastic host! She made sure we had a clean environment, had everything we needed for our stay, and was very quick to help when we reached out with questions! We appreciated all Kia did to make our stay here one to remember. We will want to stay here again!

Very cute and very clean place to stay. It’s in a cute town that seemed very safe. Uber to downtown was only 15 minutes max and not too expensive either. She was very helpful with any questions and willing to help with anything we needed before and during our stay. It’s placed above a bar, but you can’t hear the bar noises in the apartment.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Lovely Lakewood, and Kia was an exceptional host! We accidentally booked our stay one day short, but Kia quickly resolved the issue and extended our stay without any hassle—what a relief! She truly went above and beyond by providing feminine hygiene products under the sink, which saved the day when I unexpectedly needed them, especially since we didn't have a car to make a quick trip. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit family. Highly recommend!

We stayed for one night to attend a concert at Mahall’s. It was a short nice walk. Great little area. The apartment was super clean and comfortable. The Host Kia was amazing and super friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

The host was friendly and helpful. But the place could have been cleaner. Also there is a bar underneath so it was a bit loud, this is no fault of the host but it would have been beneficial to state in the description. Good place for a night life get away but I wouldn’t recommend for families.

Very comfortable stay for my husband, our baby, and I. We were in town for a wedding that was being held downtown and we were only 12 minutes away from the venue. Much cheaper option than the hotels in the area and we had a whole apartment!

The apartment is perfect for a little group. The steps are steep but our 2 and 3 year old managed them pretty well. We loved being able to sit on the little balcony in the evenings and were overall pleased with our stay. We would recommend bringing your own can opener as the ones provided did not work for us, the scissors were also a little problematic. The main rug in the living room is a bit of a tripping hazard but again, the apartment was beautifully decorated and perfect for our visit!

Had a very nice time. Lots and lots of decorations we had to move out of the way to make functional but ok other than that. Some fixing up still to be done but comfortable.

This stay was located a short walk from the concert venue/bowling alley down the street, easy access to restaurants, plenty of options for street parking, awesome living area and comfortable beds.
