Waking up to the full moon setting and the sounds of the woods and the ocean was magical. Would love to come back!
loved the views and the place was clean and comfortable
The house was delightful and very relaxing. It was great having a full kitchen, decks to enjoy, and the bathroom amenities like the heated floor are terrific.
The property was very nice the only challenge was getting the code to get in
Property is very well maintained! It was easy to check in and out and the amenities, rooms, etc. were as described. The views are amazing and it was fun to just chill on the deck and enjoy the birds and surroundings.
Nice place, will be back.
An excellent quiet relaxing holiday. Beautiful 'cabin' with everything you'll need in the kitchen, spa tub, majestic views & great location for hikes, dining & hanging with the locals. Trying to carve our another spot on the calendar for the next trip. Tip, leave no food out on the counter. There's a bit of an ant issue.
This was our second time in the Gualala area. The home is cozy and clean. The kitchen is fairly well equipped. The both beds are very nice with nice linens.
This property was very comfortable and had many extra features like heated bathroom floor, jetted tub, electronic fireplaces, extra TVs, mirrored closet doors, and full laundry. The wood flooring throughout was very nice as well as the wood ceiling and dim-able lighting everywhere. We enjoyed our stay and found ourselves returning earlier each day after adventures to just sit and relax and look out on the ocean.
The three of us enjoyed the cottage very much. The bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, dining and living room are nicely setup and very comfortable. The views of the ocean during sunset were amazing!
Great location, very clean and beautiful views.
This home is beautiful and there were no surprises because the home was exactly as shown in the pictures (this is not always the case). The home was EXCEPTIONALLY clean. The decor was just perfect - not too much, it felt like a home and the colors were just enough. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone that is going to visit the Mendocino coast. Lots of attractions are nearby, A-1 restaurants are in the area. Great place to stay and visit the northern California coast.
We truly enjoyed our stay at High Tor Upper house. It was beautifully done and better than expected. Spacious and comfortable with full size kitchen. Spectacular views of ocean. I contacted customer service 3x in advance to ask questions about property, each time they responded quickly and courteous. While listing on some sites ommited coffe maker, they had 2 - a standard drip and coffee press. Full amenities! Only thing missing was grill, but with fire season becoming so serious here in CA, it was understandable and we had no problem with not having grill. We will definitely book another trip here!
This was such a beautiful home for my husband and granddaughter. The views were stunning!!
This was a great place to stay along the Northern CA coast. We had never been to the area, but the house was just as described/photographed. Everything was very clean and in working order, and the view was great. We just wish that the CA coast would give up its fog once in a while, but that's part of the charm. The sea lions could be heard in the distance, and the birdwatching was amazing from the decks. There were good restaurants nearby, and a nice market, so we had our choice of eating out or eating in every night. With the view from the dining room table, we mostly chose to eat in or get takeout. The kitchen was well appointed with everything from dishes to pots and pans to spices, coffee and oils. We would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for a great vacation experience!
Great for family vacation. Rooms and kitchen were clean and loved the overall layout. There were minor spider webs on the lightings and outside the property that might need some attention. Master bedrooms heater was showing e3 error that got resolved aftera power on off try. It gets cold after sunset and the room heaters near the floors as well as the heater vent under kitchen basin was good to have. One thing to note was that the master bedroom's roof skylight blind do not block light well ..hence we became a very early riser by sunrise. Otherwise a very pleasant stay overall .. Recommended!
