Lovely home with hot tub, pool, two kitchens, enclosed backyard, firepit & grill

We stayed with a variety of family and friends (4 families) had a great time. The yard was super spacious and the hot tub was perfect. The location was in walking distance to downtown New Buffalo establishments and the Lake. Would stay again.

The outdoor pool was a game changer It was able to accommodate 7 adults 2 teenage girls 3 children

We had a fantastic stay at this house! Perfectly suited for our family of 5. The spacious layout allowed for everyone to relax in their own spaces and be together when we needed to be. The kids loved the backyard (and we all loved the hot tub!) and the nearby beaches. The public beach is nice and close to ice cream shops, lunch spots, etc. The house is in walking distance to the main strip for shopping and eating with our favorite restaurant being Beer Church Brewery (family friendly). Very much recommend for families or large groups looking for a fun getaway!

This is a great vacation spot that we will definitely book again in the future with our family. Loved the hot tub & firepit in the private spacious backyard. Plenty of room for the grandkids to play and the outdoor grill was perfect for meals in the evening. Inside the home is very spacious with plenty of room for family gatherings. Loved the large bedroom that was perfect for the grandkids to enjoy their own space. It included a wall mounted video game machine and also had its own full kitchen ! The rest of the house was beautifully furnished with a large kitchen , living room and two other bedrooms on the main floor and two large bedrooms, fully equipped laundry room and living area in the lower level. We had 5 adults and 4 children with plenty of living area. This home is within walking distance to the lake and all the restaurants and shops in New Buffalo. Great home , great location !!

Loved the location, walking distance if you’d like to the shops and main strip. Spacious house, great backyard and hot tub was super clean and nice feature.

Only two pluses here are location (walked everywhere including beach) and property size/number it could fit. Property was filthy, not ready for renters, and the listing contains a misrepresentation re: AC. No Central AC and you will instead run around toggling between NINE individual AC units, which smell old and musty, some turn off on their own, multiple had blades filled w/ black mold, and one (the only newer one) runs nonstop so loud it prevents people from sleeping soundly in the studio. Vacasa promptly responded and had maintenance spend hours taking them apart, replacing batteries, cleaning filters and blades, which was appreciated but a big inconvenience and too late. The lack of Central AC and condition of units upon arrival affected the enjoyment of our trip. Lower level (2 bed, 1 full bath) infested with ear wigs, major moisture problem, smells musty and moldy. Had ear wigs on our clothing, inside our bags, inside my child's pack n play! The ear wigs were so bad we brought them with us in belongings after vacating the uninhabitable property. Arrived to the home in desperate need of deep clean prior to renters. They raced to rent it for the summer season w/ a few surface-level aesthetic fixes; did bare minimum and ignored multiple glaring concerns in our opinion. Clear lack of oversight on this property by Vacasa, unfortunately to our family's detriment. Original, 70+ year old main kitchen. Filthy cupboards with wallpaper inside stained, dirty, and ripped. Old, gross furniture in kitchen. Arrived to: mold inside refrigerator; inside of oven filthy; brown liquid dripping down wall from stovetop hood; dried old soap so built up inside dishwasher dispenser it didn't work; wash machine basin had cobwebs built up with spiders; ear wigs in washer and dryer; basement shower had cobwebs and spiders; back of laundry room door attached to wall w. cobwebs. The backyard they boast about filled w/ weeds, ant-hills and debris. Found multiple sharp can and bottle parts as our small kids played. Firepit filled with dirt, debris, and cobwebs; its chairs covered in the same and bird poop, and no hose out back to clean (ordered one to do so myself). In need of new table and chairs on back patio. Grill dirty, lighter has battery corroded inside, and temp gauge doesn't work. Sent lawn co to address and spray Roundup where our kids are playing each day. No water pressure in studio bath faucet. Studio floor heaters pumping heat w/ no off switch. Primary bed light fixture hanging loose; couldn't use until fixed by staff. Had to order shelving unit as nowhere to put belongings except hangers in 2 upstairs bedrooms and studio. Sent cleaners, maintenance, and lawn co over multiple times to attempt to address but too inconvenienced, too many issues and had to vacate due to extent of ear wig infestation. Stayed 1 of our 3 weeks. Vacasa had no alternative for us in New Buffalo and refusing to fully refund us for this mess. Horrific experience.
