Lovely Hammondsport Home, Walk to Keuka Lake!

This is a great charming house in very convenient location, nicely decorated rooms and everything you need to enjoy your vacation.

The listing said two bathrooms. This is incorrect the 2nd bathroom on the main floor was in a laundry room with only a toilet and a cabinet area with a sink, there was no tub/shower Which makes this a 1/2 bathroom not 2 bathrooms! Also they have an ant problem we left some cinnamon rolls in their box on the kitchen countertop and when we got back after going down to the lake these ants loved the cinnamon rolls. The listing was fairly clean all though there was hair around the drain in the upstairs shower and the kitchen sink strainer was disgusting. Having said all this it's a great location!!!

We had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful, spotless, and had so many thoughtful extras that made our weekend even better. The location was ideal—close to town, but still peaceful and private. Communication with was easy and prompt from start to finish. It was the perfect setup for our group of four couples, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the weekend together. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped home in a great location!

Our first priority when renting a vacation home is cleanliness & most of time we have been disappointed. NOT with Twin Porches! Everything was beautifully clean & well stocked is putting it lightly! The tastefully decorated rooms create such a relaxing atmosphere! Our favorite spot was the front porch where we watched our hammondsport world go by. The back patio was a fun place to be & we loved that we could pick fruit from the peach & apple trees. It’s a very short walk to restaurants & shops & an afternoon ice cream cone from the Crooked Lake was a daily treat. The Thursday concerts in the close by park were entertaining. There was nothing lacking in this lovely home & we would love to rent it again!

My husband and I were here with our teen kids and one set of parents! It was so nice to have 4 beautiful bdrms with a basket in each full of goodies! If you love coffee, tea or hot chocolate…this is your place!! The

The home was nicely decorated with little extra touches in every room! It made us feel welcome and made our stay even more memorable. It is an easy walk to the lake park, where there is a guarded beach and still quiet to enjoy fun family evenings. Close to wineries and so many beautiful state parks… thanks for the recommendations!

This was our third stay at this house. This property is beautiful and so well appointed that it feels like you are staying at a friend's house. Lisa has lots of extras in this house that makes it feel like a home away from home.

Our group of friends loved this place, and we all commented at how well appointed it was overall. Such amazing touches and attention to detail, and it made it just as enjoyable to stay at the home with a glass of wine as it was to adventure around the area.

We stayed in this beautiful home while attending my son's wedding. The home is gorgeous and well maintained. The furniture and beds are very comfortable. The extra amenities were incredible- lotions, shampoo, candy, food, wine, vegetables, fruit, etc. Fresh flowers in every room and on the porch. The host is incredibly kind. Hammondsport is a lovely town on the lake! I highly recommend this property!

The house itself was beautiful. Lisa, the host, added thoughtful touches throughout, from a welcome gift basket in the dining room to toiletries and chocolates in the bedrooms. Lisa was very receptive to any questions that we had during our stay.

The house was great, felt so cozy! The host even checked in with us before our stay just to introduce herself. She was very friendly! She had fresh chocolate chip cookie dough in the freezer, they were delicious! Very clean and well supplied. I’m use to having to pack our kitchen supplies and cleaning supplies. I didn’t need to bring any of it, I over packed! She had everything we could have needed. There were 7 of us, my husband and I and 5 kids age’s 20-14, and plenty of room. Everyone loved it and had a great time.

We have stayed at this property several years in a row. It is a great place for all our immediate family to relax, reconnect, and visit our relatives in the area. We like visiting the small shops and walking to the lake in the early morning. The decor is amazing and welcomes us into a home away from home feeling. We look forward to visiting again!

This was our second stay at this beautiful property and everything was immaculate again! This house is so well appointed and cozy. Lisa spares no expense and it shows! We will be back again!

The house had everything you wanted. One upgrade I would suggest is black out window shades in the porch bedroom. Great stay, thank you.
