Our clean, cozy 3 bedroom, 1 bath home is in North Charleston. Drive 10 minutes to Downtown Charleston, and 8 minutes to popular spots like Park Circle, Holy City Brewery and the Coliseum. For beaches, Folly Beach and Isle of Palms are about 25 minutes away. Each of the three bedrooms has a queen size bed, and the kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, oven and microwave. We provide linens and towels, and the home is professionally cleaned. The WiFi is great, and there is a washer and dryer. You can bring up to 4 cars and park in the driveway. There is no room for RVs, buses, trailers, etc. The neighborhood is diverse, urban and working class, it is not fancy. Please read our important items to note below before booking!

Important items to note:
**Our home is in North Charleston in the neighborhood of Dorchester Terrace, which is urban, diverse and working class. While the neighborhood is changing, and there are other shot term rentals in the area because it is located so close to Downtown Charleston and Park Circle, it is not fancy, nor is it considered a good or tourist area. Many homes are being renovated, but there are still homes that are run down and/or not well kept. This is why our price is so much lower than what a similar house in a better area would cost. Please don't book if you are expecting a high-end area and are going to complain about the neighborhood!

**Our home is along a busy road. While that brings the convenience of being able to easily reach Downtown Charleston, which is about 10 minutes away, you may be able to hear the traffic from inside the home. Lots of people live alongside the road, but if you're sensitive to noise our home may not be the best fit for you.

**Our home has 1000 square feet and is single-level. There are two small stair cases outside, one in the front and one in the side, that you need to climb to enter our home. Each stair case has about 5 steps. It is an older home that retains its early 20th century uniqueness, including original hardwood floors. They do creak and are uneven in spots, that is just how old floors are. Bring up to 4 cars and enjoy hassle-free parking in the driveway. There is no room for RVs, buses, trailers, etc.

**There is a TV into which you can plug your own device via the HDMI port, for example a Firestick or Roku. It is not a Smart TV and it does not have regular TV, cable, streaming devices, etc.

Our family had a pleasant stay at tholis quaint house for our Charleston vacation. The location was perfect, with a short drive (20 minutes or less) to all of our desired destinations including downtown, the aquarium, beach, magnolia gardens, and food locales. The house isn't large, but it was clean, check in was simple, and communication with the host, Ced, was easy.

Really wanted to love this place but honestly wasn’t super impressed. The neighborhood wasn’t the safest—we saw a man close to the house walking around late at night. I was also messaging our host important questions due to a bad winter storm coming through and it took him a while to respond to those and when he did, it seemed like he was entirely focused on making a buck. On a positive note, the beds were comfy and it’s nice that the house was very close to the interstate. If I was going to travel through Charleston again, unfortunately I would not choose this place.

Pros:- Owner was very friendly and prompt when we asked to change dates. - The place was very clean.- Neighbors were quiet.- Price was the lowest we could find.- Proximity to the city.Cons:- A/C struggled to keep up with hotter days. There was one day we cooked dinner and the rest of the night our inside temperature was over 80 degrees. Our room didn't have any vents or a fan so that was a bad night.- The area isn't great, but again we had no problems, it was just an eyesore.- Bathroom was quite outdated but very functional.- One of the beds was broken/not level.

Unfortunately, due to the fact that there were no exterior pictures provided the area that we stayed in was very rundown and poor. The noise level from the road was described in the description. However, the neighbors were very loud and disruptive. Were two women staying in that home it felt very unsafe at times.

Very nice house, perfect for a quick weekend. Very close to restaurants and short drive to downtown, beaches were a little farther out. With Charleston a place we come often it was a perfect spot for my family. Would definitely recommend if needing a place to stay when not needing to be close to the beach.
