Lovely, Eco-Conscious Retreat on Lake Michigan w/ Private Beach & Hot Tub

We had a wonderful stay in this lakeside retreat! The decor and small touches were so nice! The house had everything we could need! Perfect place for several families.

We had the perfect weekend celebrating my daughter’s soon to be wedding. The house was a perfect fit for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities and plenty of room to sit around the table playing games and enjoying a meal together. We all enjoyed the view of Lake Michigan and walking down to the water. The sunsets were spectacular. Thank you for hosting us.

Ambleside is an amazing place to be! The views are incredible, the beach lovely to walk, and the home is so comfortable and cozy and welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals and all the bathrooms have eco-friendly shampoo, conditioner, soap, bath tissues and plenty of towels and washcloths. We have enjoyed quick 15 minute trips to Saugatuck and South Haven for groceries, exploring and good restaurants too! Anne is a wonderful host and easy to communicate with! 5 stars across the board!! One thing to note: this is a quiet peaceful neighborhood…and there is a new home being built two lots over (late spring 2026). Construction noise was minimal and we only heard it when we were outside or with windows open, but there is construction activity going on.

Had an amazing stay. House was well stocked. The view of the lake was gorgeous. Felt like your own private beach.

Host was fantastic and communicative, space was lovely and clean, beds were comfortable and kitchen was well appointed!

This house was absolutely perfect for my college friends reunion. It was exactly as advertised- incredible beach access, stunning views, plenty of space for spending quality time together. The kitchen was particularly well appointed which worked well for us because we all love to cook. The hosts were super responsive and a pleasure to work with.

Perfection!

The house and location are wonderful. It was the perfect place for our multi-family vacation. Our kids enjoyed running around the yard and climbing into the bunk beds. Highlights - Family-friendly, very responsive host, pristine beach and very private and quiet. Lovely neighborhood. We would stay here again without question!

Lovely private property. easy beach access. fabulous sunset views each night either on the beach, deck or firepit.Had one very minor issue, owner/management company both immediately responsive.Full kitchen, no need to leave the house. This location is perfect for all ages if you want to do activities in the area. We would love to make this home a yearly tradition for our family.

Stayed as a family and had a great time. perfect sunsets every tight and close to Saugatuck. Beach front access was easy and private which made it feel even better. Great architectural home and open space.

The house is beautiful and very comfortable but the views are over the top fabulous. Usually visiting this area like to go out for dinner or lunch, not this time. Did not leave the house. The house was spacious and so many outdoor seating areas, never felt cramped with the family. Will definitely be coming back. The host was very good with communication and any questions that needed answered.

This property had everything we needed for a restful, relaxing weekend away. The views of Lake Michigan from the house and deck near the water are beautiful. The open floor plan of the living/kitchen area provided lots of seating options for our group. The large bedroom area was very open and even with all the beds it accommodates, felt spacious.

Loved the house inside and out! The beach access was awesome and had a nice deck and stairs to get up and down. Most of our time was spent outside enjoying the sunset and hot tub. Would love to go back!
