Stayed Sep 18, 2025There were a few reasons I downgraded my rating on this property. I didn’t receive any check in instructions until after I called. I haven’t ever had this issue with a VRBO. When I did call the gentleman I talked to said he didn’t have a reservation for me listed which was also stressful because I had people waiting at the house while I was trying to get the check in instructions. Once we did manage to get inside we found damage to the inside of the home so we took photos and reported it not only to Evolve but the secondary person in the contact list as well. I never heard a word from any of them that they received the message etc. I haven’t ever had poor communication while staying at a VRBO so this is a first for me. I guess we will see if they attempt to charge us for any damage that was not incurred by us but we did feel the need to document it upon our arrival with photos that were time/date stamped. A shattered glass cooktop on the stove, damage to the flooring, a hole in the wall and dents on the front of the refrigerator were pretty big deals to us as far as damage goes. Other than that the place itself was nice and sufficient for our stay and we enjoyed it. I just wish we would have had some sort of acknowledgement that they received our message with our concerns regarding the damage. Had we had that I would not have left it on the review but wanted to make others aware of the poor communication.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved this house and it's location. We were 5 adults, very comfortable, close to everything we wanted to see and to restaurants. Magnificent views of Puget Sound and surroundings, especially from master bedroom and living room. Well- appointed home, very clean. Contact person replied immediately to our one inquiry.

Stayed Jun 5, 2024This house has a beautiful view of the sound and Olympic mountains. We enjoyed spending family time on the deck and making s’mores in the fire pit. There was plenty of beds for a large gathering and lots of room for shared meals and games in the family area. Great location on Whidbey Island, close to Coupeville.
