THINGS TO KNOW
Although this unit is not equipped with air conditioning, it is rarely needed with the mild summer temperatures at the beach. A ceiling fan ensures a pleasant breeze.
Your beachside locale is half a block from the Amtrak rails, and passing trains may occasionally be heard.
This studio is part of an older historical building with multiple units, so guests may hear noises from adjacent units. Several other units are available in the same property for rent to accommodate a group. Inquire if you need to sleep more than four people.
The home is located near the train tracks (all Santa Barbara beachfront properties share this feature) and the 101 freeway. If you are sensitive to noise when you sleep, we recommend using the earplugs provided in each unit. While the noise doesn't bother most guests, we like to be transparent so there are no surprises.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 2.
Security camera details: In the parking lot, front door, and back deck
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Clean and tidy little place, pretty, and close to the beach! I got exactly what I signed up for and had a great stay.
Good location, clean space. The room is very small, “studio” alluded to at least a little living space but this is a small bedroom. There is only a few feet around the bed in the room. I called to request early checkin & was told they would text me hourly before 4 pm to let me know if the room was ready. They never let me know and then when we left the cleaners arrived before our 10 am check out. 2 codes required, one is 10 digits long. In my opinion a hotel of comparable cost would provide more amenities, security and space.
Very homey, had all the amenities we needed. A few blocks from the beach, a few blocks from the zoo and not too far from downtown.
Very clean and cozy room. Especially liked the jacuzzi bathtub. Nice neighborhood and very close to beach. Do have to go upstairs to room and trains do occasionally go by. The noise did not however disturb our sleep. Definitely recommend this lodging.
We had a nice stay, the decor was cute, and it was clean. It was nice to be so close to the beach and downtown area. Some things to note: the bed is a full size (not queen as advertised), the thin walls bothered me more than I expected, there is not a hair dryer, and the TV remote only worked for the power and volume so we couldn't change the channels. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves, but didn't think it was worth the price once all the fees were added.
The wife and I have been guest for over 10 years and the experience ( after a 2 year interruption) exceeded our expectations. For the 1st time we stayed in the San Miguel, and our last day in the Jordan suite. We have a new favorite room, private, quiet, walk to beach , just all around Loved It. Additionally, the Vacasa Property Manager Zachary was instrumental in delivering great customer satisfaction. Great guy, true professional. Thanks again, see you soon!! Danny + Peggy Block
Very clean, good basic amenities, close to beach, restaurants.
The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable! Entering home was easy! Everything you need to have a pleasant stay! My only request would be to have creamer for the coffee. Thank you for the bedroom!
Perfect spot for two. Nice get-a-way
The room was homey, light and airy., the location was perfectly within walking distance or 10 minute drive to cute eats and shops, but there were too many numbers to memorize to access the room and there was no maid service for our 3 day trip. Overall, 4.5/5 stars.
