Lou's Bay View in Scienic Coos Bay- Charleston. Large beautiful Home.

Very nice large home with a beautiful view of the bay. Large windows to look out. We enjoyed having a separate family room where the teenagers could hang out, watch television and play games. I didn’t meet the host, but she was very prompt to answer emails. This is a family home and tells about their move to Coos Bay and has old family photos in the hallway making the home more interesting.

This is the best VRBO rental we've ever stayed at. The house is well situated away from the downtown area and close to the state parks along the Cape Arago Highway. It was quiet (even on New Years Eve), clean, cozy and contained everything you could possibly need for cooking, sleeping, relaxing at night and just feeling at home. We spoke with Andy, one of the owners, several times during our stay; he lives next door and offered helpful insights and information about the area. You can tell he loves living in the area and shares his enthusiasm about what Coos Bay offers to residents and visitors alike. Unlike some rentals where the owners are totally absent (especially when you need them for something) or others where they seem to hover or be too present, this was the perfect medium. If and when we pay another visit to the area, this will be my top choice, hands down. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Before our stay the owner quickly replied to all my questions. We were warmly greeted upon arrival. Lou's Bay View was perfect for our stay. The home was large, had everything we needed including a wonderful view. I hope to stay here again!

Prime location and spacious!!

The back bedroom smelled of mold and lacked a fan or window to open. Occupants abandoned it and slept on futons in the sun room. House was otherwise okay.I would rent this venue again if this problem was fixed.

The house is very spacious. The owner was very nice and gave us some ideas of things to do. They also allowed us to use the crab pots and clamming gear from the garage. It’s a perfect location just outside of town. Close to the marina, beaches and 10 mins to town.

This property was ideal for our stay in Coos Bay…clean, plenty of room, well stocked kitchen, gorgeous views, great location, and absolutely wonderful hosts! We will be back and will recommend to others.

We enjoyed the place and the central location for going up and down the coast from this location. Host was nice and even shared some of her bounty of her fruit and vegetable garden with us!

Nice roomy house, however the sewer gas smell made it unpleasant to open windows and doors or spend time outside.

Was a bit surprised that owners living quarters was ATTACHED to house. We could hear them early in the morning as there were shared walls. Also small dogs barking and running up at us in driveway. My teens were uncomfortable sleeping in bedrooms as it was far from us so they slept in the living room. This was actually the first time I was told while renting VRBO that we had only 1 bag of garbage, had to do laundry and clean and mop house before leaving. The house was clean and location and property was beautiful and right across from ocean with an ocean view

We stayed in this lovely home while having work done in our home. This home provided everything you would need to feel like you are home. The host were great. The home is very spacious with a spectacular view of the bay and a great distance from all there is to do in Coos Bay. Losts of games in the pantry for the family to enjoy. Perfect place for a family vacation.

Very comfortable house with a fantastic view of the bay from the living room and 2 front bedrooms. The 3 of us were very comfortable but the house can easily fit more with the living room and a big family room. I will definitely look to rent this again for another wonderful Mother's Day weekend with my adult children.

Water views were excellent, yard perfect for our small dog, host was gracious- we had a sudden departure need 2 days early and she welcomed us to use the dates at a different time. Beautiful front garden with flowers, and really can't beat this location - close to beaches and town!

This is a cozy place that will accommodate 7-9 people comfortably in quiet area just minutes from Charleston and Bastendorff beach. The view of the bay is lovely and the owners communicate well. House is secure and private...we even had karaoke going on Saturday night and the privacy was sufficuent to not disturb anyone nearby. Thanks for a great stay!

This home is spacious and clean with a beautiful view of Coos Bay. We had plenty of room to talk and visit with each other while boats passed by on the bay. There were lots of pots, pans, and baking things in the kitchen, which made making large meals easy. We liked being 15 min away from town and the beach state parks. Thank you!

Great location for the activity we were doing.

The house was really nice and very spacious. Very nice view of the bay. The house wasn’t completely stocked when we arrived but the owner was there to give us the few things that needed to be provided. Overall cleanliness left a little to be desired. WiFi is spotty at best as there is no modem or router in the house it is fed with WiFi extenders from the owners house. We would go back just because of the size and set up for a bigger family but will definitely explore more options if we go back to the coast. We also ran out of hot water after 2 baths for the kids and definitely had to wait a while before the hot water was available.

Loved the view from the front room of Coos Bay. Close to everything. Lots of space for family fathering.

Omg this is such a special place! Space for everyone, well equipped kitchen amazing views . Not to mention the landscaping. But what really stands out at this place is the hosts . By far the most gracious personal host I have ever encountered. Andy is the best and his mother Bettie . They created an experience for me and my family that I will always remember. We are going to make this place a tradition. I can’t wait to come back Thanks alAndy and Bettie ! We all are sending you love !

My family and I loved Lou’s! The views and gardens are spectacular! It was in a perfect location. Everything you could possibly want to visit is very close by. Bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect size. The view from the front living area was beautiful! Kitchen was a very nice size with eat in room and all amenities you could need. One of my favorite spaces was the back living area. It was huge, bright and oh so comfy! We truly hope to visit again!

Was in Coos Bay to celebrate our daughters graduation from OIMB with family and friends. The house location was perfect! Very clean and the kitchen was well appointed. The two living rooms worked very well and we were very comfortable staying here. Highly recommend and thank you!
