This is a very homey house. Has everything you need for your stay. The owner Karen is wonderful. I would definitely stay at Lou’s again.
We had a great time in Charleston and our stay at Lou's was great. They had a freezer, loaner rubber boots, crab rings, etc. The home was very clean and well appointed.
With plenty of parking and room for your toys, children and friends this gem will not disappoint. It's a perfect get-away for fun at the dunes, fishing or just watching the spectacular sunsets from the large bay-windows. (The view is truly much better than the photos portray) There's even a spot for clamming right across the street. Be sure to take time to read the history of this charming home and enjoy the beautiful artwork created by the original owner, her daughter and her son-in-law's mother. And don't forget to save some time for a bowl of crab soup from Miller's at the Cove and a stroll through Shore Acres. The home has most everything you would expect from a short term rental. Plenty of towels, bedding, spices and dishes. The garage is available for your use. There is a BBQ, toys, chairs, life jackets, a large assortment of rubber boots and even a freezer to store your bounty from the sea! Thank you Karen and Any, we had a fantabulous time and won't hesitate to return!!
house has a lot of amenity. Could do with less throw rugs. They were more of a hazard and make house look dirty. Very nice subset view from living room . over all a clean house.
The managers are on site and were very helpful and friendly. The flower gardens were stunning as was the bay view sunsets. The kitchen had everything we needed and the sleeping options could accommodate a large family. the location was perfect for us; fishing charters, beaches, botanical garden and Cap Argo. We will stay here again!

Karen and Andy are great hosts. We traveled with our son and his family with 3 young kids. The bedroom separation worked well. The large family room with lots of natural light and comfortable furniture was great for a movie or watching a ballgame together. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked all of our meals there. We really enjoyed our stay at Lou's place.
Property was in a fabulous location with lovely gardens. The house was clean, comfortable, spacious and well set up. The landlords are great. Highly recommend this place!
We were surprised and thrilled to find Lou’s Bay View even better than the listing. What more can be said? The hosts were friendly and helpful. We were happy campers and plan to return.
