Stayed Aug 22, 2024This is a wonderful property, the hosts Gianni and Tanya are very welcoming and were always able to help. They are the perfect hosts. The property is located very close to Alberello, (5 mins drive) and the town of Locorotondo, (10 mins drive) Both have a good choice of restaurants, shops and attractions are well worth the visit. Locorotondo especially in the evening has a wonderful Italian community feel to it. Also being located in the middle the beaches and ports are a 30- 40 min drive in both directions The property it self has everything you need. We went as a family of 9 with 4 teenagers and there was plenty of space for everyone. The property is large with plenty of seating and areas for everyone. The pool and gardens are lovely with fruit trees and flowers. Plenty of parking. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and had everything. The property is beautifully decorated with lots of quirky touches which makes it feel comfortable and you find something new to look at everyday. Thank you Gianni and Tanya for a perfect holiday. We will be back.

Stayed May 17, 2023Overall the rental was a good experience except for two issues. Firstly pricing. There was an additional charge of C$ 174.77 above the cost quoted by VRBO at the time of booking. Secondly there was a municipal electricity and water shut-off the first day, which the manager only told us about on arrival. After a tiring day of travelling, we had intended to spend the first day relaxing, instead we were forced to leave by 8:30, and return after 16:30. No compensation was offered instead we were asked to pay an extra €140 for heating for four days! Our host must have been aware of the electricity/water shutoff, and we feel we should have been advised beforehand. We felt quite inconvenienced by this development, as it constituted a whole day out of a four day stay, in which we had had hoped the enjoy the lovely villa. On a positive note we very much appreciated the help we received from Tanya when our rental car broke down and needed to be towed after we had departed.

Stayed Jun 26, 2022We can’t say enough about this amazing rental as well as the hosts! Pictures definitely do not do this place justice. Perfect location, plenty of space. Gianni and Tanya were more than generous and helpful with suggestions, info, recommendations, and coming to unlock the house when we accidentally locked ourselves out. We would absolutely stay here again, and highly recommend!

Stayed Jun 22, 2019The home was tucked away and lovely for a family getaway. The outdoor entertaining areas were perfect for a family catch up. The house gets a bit warm at night. The pool was great to swim in. Make sure you use mosquito repellent. The owners were great and had lots of tips for places to see. We particularly enjoyed the town centre of Alborebello and Locorotundo and our trip to the zoo safari in Fasano.

Stayed Jul 16, 2018We visited with our two boys, aged 4 and 1, and there were 7 of us in total. The house is lovely with one bedroom having the domed Trulli ceiling. The greatest feature is the wonderfully large outdoor dining area with both cooker and BBQ. The house has 5 bedrooms (one which is a mezzanine) with 2 ensuites and one separate Bathroom. It was easy to work with young children - the swimming pool is at a short distance and there is gate that can be closed off between the house and the pool. There are no baths (if you’re used to your kids bathing each night), but our 2 were fine in the showers. There are an incredible number of day trips that can be taken - zoosafari, acquapark (water park), caves (we went to the smaller Grotta Del Trullo with our 4 year old....NOT suitable for a baby with the steps), stunning beaches, and plentiful towns. We especially enjoyed a trip to Grottaglie to see the ceramics quarter. Tanya was particularly helpful during our stay - our flight was delayed and we arrived very late at night, she kindly had some food laid out at the house. There was a slight language barrier organising the trip, but overall a really lovely holiday and certainly a beautiful area of Italy definitely worth a visit.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house is beautiful, clean and has room for a large group like our family of seven. The outside area is lovely, even in February (we enjoyed a lunch on the terrace, prepared in the big outdoor kitchen) and the olive fields around the house are perfect for short or longer walks – or just for a pretty and relaxing view from the terrace. Gianni and Tanya were really nice and went out of their way to help us in every way - we could not have hoped for better hosts. We recommend this wonderful place without reservation and hope to return there ourselves one day. Jan and Lene, Denmark

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a wonderful time at the villa. It was beautiful! The location was perfect for us. We cooked home every night and sat at the outside kitchen area. It was everything we could ask for and then some. Gianni was so helpful. We loved their wine!!!! It was delicious and so were all the goodies they left for us. We will stay here again

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was my second stay here with a new group of friends who were as impressed as me. The location is convenient just 1 mile from Alberobello and shops and 30 minutes to the seaside. You can even walk to town though the lanes are quite busy. There's lots of room to park too. It is quiet and pretty. The house is comfortable with well equipped bathrooms and kitchen as well as TV and good wi-fi. The pool is nice with comfy loungers and the extensive grade is very private. Our hosts kindly ensure that the kitchen has all the basics like oil, spices, salt, washing up and dishwasher soaps, There's also nice shower gel and shampoo. They also greeted us with wine and local cheeses, fruit and delicious biscuits. In fact they think of everything including maps and guidebooks. Any problem will be solved and advice given though we did resort to Google translate as our Italian is non-existent. A lovely friendly old dog and some pretty cats also keep an eye on guests. Highly recommended for a comfy stay.
