Charming, quintessentially New Hampshire log cabin at the top of Gunstock Acres. The cabin is in the perfect location to enjoy all the Lakes Region has to offer! Just an 8-minute drive to Ellacoya State Park, 7 min. to Gunstock Ski Resort, 10 min. to Bank of NH Concert Pavilion, 15 min. to Weirs Beach, and 30 min. to NH Motor Speedway. The house has a deck with a gas grill, a spacious front porch, and a selection of yard games to enjoy the peaceful outdoor surroundings.

When we purchased the cabin, our goal was to furnish and decorate it in a way that would encourage us to unplug and unwind. We love vintage New Hampshire style, so you'll find fun little touches around the house.

The home has three smart TVs, so you can easily access your Netflix account. The living room has a Bluetooth sound system that hooks up to the TV and phones, so you can listen to your favorite playlist. If you're in the mood to unplug, there is a library with an assortment of books, along with a record player with a small collection of vintage records.

You'll have access to the entire cabin and yard. You're welcome to use anything in the house!

The cabin is located on a street of beautiful homes, at the very top of Gunstock Acres. When you first turn on to the street, you'll notice the incredible views of Lake Winnipesaukee across the street. On a clear day, you can see Mt. Washington in the distance. The neighborhood is hilly, so a challenging, scenic hike is just outside your door!

The cabin is driving distance to some of the Lake Region's best amenities.

Ellacoya State Park:
There are a lot of photos of Ellacoya State Park on their website. There is a fee to access the park. Admission is $5 for adults; $2 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under are free.

We stayed here in August for two nights with our 5 young children for our first family vacation. The home was very cozy and had plenty of space for all of us! We were especially pleased with the location of the house, as it was close to all of the attractions we planned on visiting. The private beach area associated with the house was awesome! Kids loved swimming and playing with the sand toys that are provided. They even have private bathrooms and changing rooms. We will definitely be looking to stay here again! The owner ( Melissa) was wonderful and answered any questions that we had.

Though we live within 45 minutes, we had tickets to a concert in Gilford - but forgot it was 'race weekend'. Loudon's post-Nascar traffic is especially heavy after the race on Sunday, just about the time we needed to leave. We were lucky to find this place and very happy to find that the pictures did not lie...often the camera work outshines the reality. The place was spotless, despite an unusually rainy, humid week. Two very comfortable bedrooms, one an extended loft that is much roomier than the description implies. The third bedroom has a bunk that was comfy and accommodated my (200 lb) brother who is tall. My other brother and his significant other were thrilled with the first floor bedroom, with close proximity to the bathroom. Truly the cabin is as beautiful as the pictures. We were well supplied from the basics (i.e. pantry stuff) to the lovely extra details: sound system, soaps, nice towels, etc. Had a fabulous cookout before the show and relaxed and watched music videos, etc afterward. Very comfortable for the five adults and would be great for 2 couples with a kid or two. We worried about the single bath but, hey, there were 3 men and a backyard if it came down to it! Good information is available for local activities/destinations, and notes about how to use technology were very helpful. Melissa was very prompt in responding to messages and we will keep this place in mind whenever out-of-town guests visit! With current 'home improvement status', we always dreaded this before. Thanks again for sharing your place, Melissa!
