Georgetown, Colorado
This beautifully remodeled "1875" historic home is situated on Georgetown's historic Main Street. Its proximity to downtown means you are just walking distance from all the shops and restaurants, but still gives you incredible views of the mountains encompassing all sides of the property.
Inside we have a large living area with a sofa bed and large comfy chair. Sit back and enjoy one of our blu-ray movies on the flat screen television or relax in the rocking chair and read one of the many novels on the bookshelf.
The beautiful kitchen comes equipped with all of your cooking essentials so you can whip up anything your stomach desires. Take a seat in our dining area with its convertible table, providing intimate seating for two or extend the sides for four.
The bathroom comes stocked with all the necessary amenities including shampoo and fresh towels. You will love using the vintage claw foot tub to take either a shower or a bath. If you have the pleasure of staying with us during the colder months, the overhead heat lamp ensures a warm and toasty experience.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed and soft sheets, perfect for two. For your entertainment we have provided a flat screen television with satellite connection.
The second bedroom has a full size bed. Perfect for a single occupant, but can be used by two.
Take a step outside to enjoy stunning mountain views while sitting at the outdoor table, perfectly shaded under the umbrella. If a BBQ is your style, throw some steaks on the charcoal grill.
This mountain retreat would be a perfect fit for anyone, anytime of the year. We would recommend travelers of one to four, but can accommodate up to six if needed.
Wifi is also included at no additional charge.
This home was clean, comfortable, well-equipped, well-maintained, and well-located. The bed was comfortable, too. Check-in was easy. Plenty of great hiking nearby. No snacks or staples were provided in the kitchen (condiments, coffee, spices, oils, etc.), but in the days of Covid-19 that might be expected. The yard could use some love.
The house is clean and cute. Walking distance to downtown. We had a short power outage (the whole town) and the host was very responsive and told us where to find flashlights. The only kitchen items stocked are salt and pepper, so we needed to pick up our own cooking oil, coffee, etc, at the small market in town, but not a big deal. There are a few coffee shops in town as well. Linens were clean and smelled fresh. Very cute town, we would come back again.
Loved this place. The location was great, easy to walk to shops and parks. The house had everything we needed. I would recommend this place to anyone considering Georgetown.
My sis and I stayed at this house about 7 years ago and had a perfect time. This year we were joined by our significant others. Our only complaint would be that there wasn’t any coffee or spices, and we thought there were a few basic cooking necessities when we stayed before.
We enjoyed our visit. It was close to everything, even had a nice little playground for our granddaughter. If I would have any issues, it would be the kitchen. Most places I have stayed kept coffee & filters like a hotel does. I’m a grumpy grandma without coffee. We did find excellent coffee at the market nearby - don’t waste your money at the coffee shop.
Perfect! Everything was perfect!
My friend and I took our granddaughters for a fun Colorado visit. The home was just perfect for us with everything we needed. Beds and furniture were comfy, and the kitchen well equipped. The proximity to town was perfect. We certainly hope to return!
The house was perfect for our visit to Georgetown. It was minutes on foot to the town center.
Nice and clean little house.
The place was great, it had everything you need, and if you forgot something, there is a family dollar in Georgetown. Only thing I would suggest is for the owner to send a first welcome communication a week prior the stay, and whatever else is needed to be known 2 days prior instead of 7pm the day before arrival so people like me are reassured and can plan ahead.
Great experience at this clean, quiet, warm house. Just know there are not extras in the kitchen, so bring your own oil, seasonings, etc. All the utensils are there as listed!
Friend and I stayed to be close to the ski resorts and the house did not disappoint. Had everything we needed, stayed nice and warm and close to all the action around. We will be back next winter.
Worked great as the staging place for our fall trip to Guanella Pass.
We had a great time in Georgetown. Property was exactly as described, clean and well-equipped. Loved that the property was walking distance to shops and restaurants. Only wish we could have stayed longer.
It met our expectations and made for an enjoyable four days in Geoo
We had a wonderful time staying at the property. The house was clean and comfortable. The house is close to downtown Georgetown and a short walk to the lake. We would definitely stay again and had a great experience!
This charming Gem in Georgetown was perfect for us! The ambiance of this historic home was so comforting. Not only beautiful, but super clean, extremely comfortable beds, and everything you need for your stay. Our host, Brent, went out of his way to accommodate all of our needs and answered immediately when we reached out. We will definitely return. E.Kelley
