Lovely, quirky house in a great location with friendly neighbours. The house is a combination of old and new. Most of the downstairs is old with very thick walls. This helps it to keep a pleasant temperature. All the windows and doors have shutters so these also keep the house nice and cool in hot weather. The lounge is lovely with a comfy sofa and a large tv. The kitchen has very good facilities. Not much storage space but we moved things around. The main bedroom is at the front of the house, downstairs. It is a little odd, with a curtain between the bedroom and the bathroom, but the bed is very comfortable. There is also a tv in this room. The other two bedrooms and the shower room/toilet are upstairs. The bedrooms are in the attic so care needs to be taken to avoid banging your head, but they are lovely rooms and also had very comfortable beds. The sofa bed was also used when one of us was poorly and was as comfortable as a regular bed, which was a nice surprise! It does get hotter in these bedrooms but our adult kids were perfectly happy up there. The shower room is small but the shower is good. The garden is private and very nice to relax in. There is a BBQ, which we didn’t use. There is a washing line with pegs. The washing machine and dryer were used and work well. There is an outside tap which was useful. We didn’t have bikes but walked into Larmor Plage every day. We enjoyed exploring all the different beaches and finding shells and sea glass. Sunday market was great

I cannot emphasis how much I loved staying in Thierry's house, from the moment we arrived Thierry was there to welcome us after our long drive. The house is very big and cool as we experienced unusual temperatures for the area. Also lovely secure garden for our dog, she loved chilling under the tree. My husband and son appreciated the cool cider in the fridge - thank you The house is so spacious, our son would happily chill out on the upper level. It is so easy to get around, we went early every morning with our dog, to the park, to the beach and for coffee. I could so easily get used to that routine. Ten minutes walk to the Port, the beach and maybe 15 to the town. We parked up our car and that is where is stayed for the week. I would thoroughly recommend this house and this area and we hope to be back very soon.

We really enjoyed our stay in this great house. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The house is beautiful and very well equipped and very comfortable. Everything you might want or need is there. We really slept well on a great bed. Even I, being a bit on the heavy side. :-) The wifi is working perfectly. The surroundings are great and the people are very friendly. We enjoyed our daily walks to the beach and the nice restaurants on walking distance. Even our little dog had a great holiday. We will be back next year.

We have enjoyed our time at Larmor-Plage! Very nice owers, responsive and easy to interact with. The place is unusually well-equipped for a holiday home and has a nice garden with terrace and BBQ. Only a 5-min walk to the bakery in the morning and a 10-15 min walk to the beach (our stay was in July-August). We found a good fresh-water fishing location within 5 km from the house. Plenty of nice towns in the neighborhood, good restaurants, markets, walking trails. A visit to Vannes is certainly worthwhile. We had a car and loved the combination of nature, beaches, great food and culture in the surroundings. Unfortunately the weather was rather unstable (as it often is in Brittany) but if you are a bit creative and not desperately wanting to sit in the sun all day, then this is a great region to visit! This house in Larmor-Plage has lots of charm and is nicely located centrally in south Brittany.

I truly enjoyed my stay in this lovely home, which had all the conveniences of a modern home in a rustic setting. It is an ideal vacation home for a large family, and it is conveniently located with many local attractions. I also appreciated the warmth and hospitality of the landlords, who were very accommodating. C Werner

Photos don't do justice. Very easy with children, close to beaches and the area is very nice. Plenty to do. Property was very clean which I am particularly fussy about, everything is in working order. Owner is very helpful and communication is excellent. I would recommend this house without a doubt.
