The photos due this cabin no justice. Breathe taken views. The cabin has everything you could think of. We came up for a family vacation that I surprised my son with his best friend for his birthday. It ended up being a birthday he will never forget. Everything was perfect, tons of space that 2 families merged into 1 house and we all still had room for everyone not to be on top of each other. Both of our families have said we will be back. Thank you.

The views were better than outstanding! The wrap around porch provided plenty of room for all six of us including two toddlers. The playground was fenced and very safe. Blue Ridge was very close and the train ride was fun! Def would recommend! My husband and sil’s fav was the cabin!

This is our favorite mountain cabin. Gorgeous view, beautiful cabin, owners are amazing to work with and I promise you will make wonderful memories. We keep going back.

Great views! Plenty of room for the whole family! The playset outside was a huge hit with the kids!

Check in was simple. Host was very gracious when we first booked and helped and allowed us to reschedule from a terrible ice and snow storm. We had the most amazing time at the property and the views were spectacular. All of our kids enjoyed every moment and we had all the room we could ever need and more. House was stocked with everything we needed and it was a beautiful place to stay as well. Definitely recommend this place for the views alone and everything else just made it that much better.

Our two week stay turned out to be everything we had hoped for. First week was just hubby and I and second week the kids and the grands all came to stay. We had a wonderful time enjoying the hot tub, the pool table and especially your excellent porches. The views and the morning sun rises were just spectacular! We saw deer and turkeys from the decks and enjoyed an unexpected day of snow! The fireplaces sure came in handy. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and your super large dining table was the perfect place for evening board games. Truly a beautiful place and we do appreciate you sharing it with us!!

Beautiful cabin with a beautiful view! Bring your own food, as the kitchen is well stocked with all the kitchen tools you will need to cook and bake while you are there. Fenced in backyard with a swing set was a huge hit with the grandkids and the place was absolutely perfect for our family of 8 adults and 4 small children!

Incredible location for our organization retreat. The photos do not do this place justice. The view is breathtaking, especially the sunrise. There is space for at least 6 cars on a paved driveway. The kitchen and dining table are great for large dinners. We loved using the hot tub and playing corn hole in the fenced yard. Perfect for large groups and family gatherings.

We love this cabin! Last weekend was our 11th Annual Family Weekend and our 2nd year at this cabin! How I wish we had found it sooner. It is perfect for our family of 10. From the spacious kitchen, gas fireplace in the great room and wood burning fireplace on the porch, multiple conversation/gathering spaces, wraparound porch with beautiful mountain views, comfortable beds, the fenced in playground and fire pit. The list goes on and on. It is perfect!!!! We hope to return next year.

Beautiful location and plenty of room for all 13 of us!

First, the layout of the house is nice. The view from the deck is beautiful. However, the house needs some serious TLC and a new cleaning service. One of the kitchen chairs was broken and not usable. The pictures of the furniture in the living room is not what’s in the house. It is an older sectional that used to recline. The floors are horribly damaged. There is no video game in the basement (see picture of a table and lamp instead). The foosball table is not usable as many of the men are missing or are broken. The gas fireplace was not in service and I’m not certain if we would have been told beforehand if I didn’t contact the owner regarding wood for the outside fireplace (which is not provided but you will pass a house with a wood for sale sign on the way to the cabin. The gentleman offers a very reasonable price, delivers and unloads the wood for you). The rocking chairs outside have severely chipping paint and the outside furniture desperately needs new cushions. The ones in use are very stained and have multiple rips. There was debris behind one of the dressers in the main level bedroom on the left. These was dust and debris under the credenza in the basement. The bunk beds were not made. Extra towels were not folded but found in the dryer. The towels are very thin and should be replaced. Going back to the issue with the gas fireplace, we were given a whole 50 refund for this issue. In all, the house itself was nice, but most everything else…..

We enjoyed our stay at Ohana Lodge. The setting and views were 5 stars. The cabin is positioned facing east-ward so you catch the morning sunrise views early and also enjoy the benefit of muted sunset colorations in the sky. The playground space and fenced in yard overlook the spanning views and create a gorgeous backdrop for playtime with young children or pets. The hot tub was a nice feature, overlooked the views, and was very clean upon our use. The reason we give this review 4 and not 5 stars is simply due to the current condition of the cabin itself. Plainly stated, it needs a lot of TLC. Do not expect a luxury feel when you stay - furniture, namely the living room couch is broken and needs replacement, the fireplace had not been maintained and after a repair visit arranged by the host, was not able to be fixed but rather decommissioned for future use until repair, which was disappointing given the cold season had already begun prior to our stay. The foosball table is broken to the point beyond use. The playground was not broken (yet) but close to needing some maintenance/repair. The kitchen-ware, pots, and pans could use a refresh and appeared like they have never been replaced or upgraded. The oven was slow to warm and heat as we were cooking. The overall cabin needed a thorough deep cleaning, as we noticed dust and grime on floors and under furniture. Lastly, pay attention to the instructions the host provides on access as you do not want to come in the south drive.

The house had everything we needed for our big group. While the weather wasn’t cooperative during our stay, the house had plenty for us to do to stay busy or just relax.

We truly enjoyed our visit.. the location was a little concerning after we saw it but we began to feel more secure.. however, when we checked in the door to the bottom floor was standing wide open.. we were a little afraid until we completely searched the house.

Gorgeous view & large covered deck, comfortable seating, we enjoyed the pool table in the basement. Parts of the road are a little steep but nothing that should scare anyone off. Directions were great and streets marked well. We also enjoyed the play area and fire pit.

Beautiful place!

The location and size was wonderful. The cleaning company should dust and be sure the dishes are actually clean in the cabinet. The bathrooms need to have bath mats to prevent falls on the ceramic floors. I’m sorry to have to report these things because it is a terrific cabin. I just think the owner should be aware I left the glasses in the cabinet just as I found them so you can show the owner

Overall good! Small things like we weren't aware the downstairs beds wouldn't be made upon arrival, but we just made them real quick. Downstairs shower curtain was a lil scary but the host communicated well when i let them know. Good space and location with an amazing view! Would stay again for a longer time!

Check in was quick and easy and the cabin is lovely. So quiet and peaceful with amazing views! We saw three rainbows over the course of the weekend couldn’t stop taking pictures. The view of the mountains changes constantly and is absolutely breathtaking. I did communicate with Rocky a few times and he was incredibly responsive. What a memorable week!

Spacious, sleeping areas on three different floors for privacy / separation, wonderful views, regular use of hot tub, firepit, gas grill and playground. Certain that both living room and patio fireplaces are popular during the fall and winter. Quiet and private location within 10 minute drive to Blue Ridge.

Waking to the beauty of the blue ridge mountains is like ingesting fresh air. Sitting by the fire pit at night with family is invigorating and relationship strengthening. Thoroughly enjoyed this precious time with family away from the madness of modern life.

Very happy we stayed here. Beautiful view, great space, and perfect for the family. Overall we were very happy with our stay here. The hot tub was great! There is some basic wear and tear to the property. The dryer took a long time to dry clothes. The dryer vent needs to be replaced. The kitchen has wear and tear, older drawers/ cabinets but kitchen/dining space was great. Bedrooms were nice layouts and worked great for our big family of 15. The outdoor kids play area was perfect for the kids to play outside. We roasted s'mores in the outside fire pit. It was nice to have separate spaces to relax upstairs and downstairs. Outdoor patio overlooking the mountain was a breathtaking view. Overall we loved our stay here and would recommend it.

Overall great stay! We were not prepared for how far up the mountain we would be, so be aware that this is a steep climb with very narrow roads (that’s why only 4 stars - we felt like we should have known that before coming since some vehicles may have trouble with the steep drives). Be sure to bring your own toilet paper and paper towels, and be prepared to wash your dishes and put them away before you check out. The WiFi worked ok for us but some delays on streaming - that’s to be expected so far out. There’s no arcade game in the game room anymore. Only one towel per person, so bring your own laundry detergent for longer stays. We would definitely come again!

We enjoyed everything about this place. The views were magnificent. The home was very spacious, clean and accommodating . We were a family of 10 from New Jersey attending a wedding At The Falls Of Blue Ridge and this home was just a short drive to the venue. The host answered any questions we had in a timely manner . We highly recommend staying here!

Great layout, views, and the playground for kids is super convenient. The property needs some TLC and a deep cleaning though. The counters and cabinets were sticky, sheets stained/hairs in bed, playground is on its last leg, and broken furniture throughout.

We stayed for the weekend for our Women's retreat. Check in was super easy and the location was amazing! Plenty of seating for worship/message that we did on the porch for 17 ladies. Game room was fun and had lots of different things.

House was roomy and had great views. We did, however, experience some difficulties:- toilet on mail floor had lots of problems. Sometimes wouldn’t flush, filled slowly.- sink downstairs dripped constantly - hot tub wasn’t full, so periodically spewed out water. Made lots of noise. - had only 5 coffee cups for a house that sleeps 20.

This was the perfect cabin for our Tenth Annual Family Weekend. From 70 something’s to teenagers to a two year old - it was perfect for everyone. We are already considering a return next year! Thank you for sharing.

We enjoyed our stay at Ohana Lodge! The mountain views were amazing and we had plenty of room for our large family. The fenced backyard was ideal for our toddlers and dogs. Would love to return during warmer weather to enjoy the wraparound porches.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ohana Lodge! The house is beautiful and there was something for everyone to enjoy! The view is amazing especially sunrises and sunsets. You have to visit Mercier Orchards and buy some of their donuts! Delicious! The host was very quick to respond to our messages! It was a wonderful trip with family!

We planned our annual.family vacation. A mixture of 3 families. The cabin was beautifully decorated for the holiday. With 11 of us at all ages, we found fun and excitement around each corner.

Lovely property high on the mountain, great views.Adaquatly appointed for our large family.Make sure you report any damage found before you go to sleep the first nite.Cleaners could use some retraining. Overall would recommend.

The view is amazing. We have been staying in the area for years and this is one of the best views we have seen. Sunrise directly in front of the deck with the mountains. Truly picturesque. Unfortunately, the cabin was not clean. Dirty dishes, counters, floors, etc. Labels threatening the deposit for all types of things. Three different labels on the fireplace instructing to not touch things. When the fireplace didn’t work according to the instructions, the response was to touch what the labels said not to touch. Communication wasn’t quick. Before we arrived we received messages that we would get codes at certain times and it wasn’t accurate. Not a big deal, but was not accurate communication. Then, we messaged about the fireplace but had to wait until the next day to get an answer regarding how to operate it. (We knew how, but everything was threatening the deposit if you touched it.) Kitchen is definitely not a high end kitchen. The oven took forever to heat up and took several hours to bake potatoes. There were no kitchen towels or cleaning scrubs except one old dirty sponge. Not well stocked with towels. WiFi was very poor. We all ended up using our phones as hotspots and then would download a movie and try to watch it that way. Didn’t get normal antenna channels so couldn’t watch the default sports college ball. Maybe there was a way, but since communication was slow and we had to buy batteries for the remote anyway, we didn’t ask.

We have enjoyed this place two times now. We love the location the view and the property. Rocky the owner is very quick to respond if you have any questions. Pet friendly with a fenced in backyard to keep dogs from running off.

We had ages 8months to 70years. House was large and perfect for our family gathering however communication was not good and cleaning needed help. It was stated they had a stroller on property we did not pack one and there was no stroller. This was a disaster. In addition there was copious amounts of dust throughout cabin and vent in bathroom looked as if it had not been cleaned in a while. I have allergies and was sick the entire weekend. In addition there were two rotten rocking chairs which needed to be removed and were still there. This is in addition to there was a broken chair which was next to house when we pulled up. Swing set is good for young kids but my 8 year old got on it and the whole thing looked unsteady. She weighs about 45lbs. Also at first I thought it was motion cameras then found out there were ALOT of cameras on property. I understand the ones on parking and ring doorbell but the ones on back porch seemed invasive not sure about the play ground if that was camera or lights. The lighting on the porch was terrible only two dim lights on each side. The lights on banister didn’t work. Unfortunately there was not a big moon in the time we were there so at night porch was hard to navigate especially for people who don’t see well in the dark.
