Warm and welcoming home in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood of Bath. Wonderfully walkable to the river, downtown, amazing dog park and the Maine Martime Museum. Great home base for exploring other areas of Maine and a quick drive to scenic beaches and lobster feasts! The large kitchen is sunny and stocked with more than imaginable for cooking for a small or large group and the private back yard and firepit are just the spot to take in the Maine air. Exceptionally friendly host - incredible experience. Our family is still reminiscing:)

This home is absolutely beautiful! It is clean, FULLY stocked, and spacious (3 floors). We began family vacations 4 years ago as we now have family in NC, CT, MA, and NH. The consensus was that this was the best house yet! LOVED the open kitchen with every appliance or gadget you could ever need. Great laundry room as well as 3 beautiful bathrooms, especially in the master sweet! Lovely air conditioners throughout! The back yard had a fire pit and we gathered there at night to relax! Gillian was absolutely pleasant on the phone and very accommodating! Easy drive from the house to our 3 venues (Sunset Cruise in Boothbay, Oyster cruise in Bath, and Popham Beach (best beach I have ever been to!) We highly recommend this house!

Lone Pine Cottage provided us exactly what we needed for our stay in Bath. We loved the dining space that had enough chairs for 12. The kitchen was amazing and was stocked with everything we needed, including spices and cooking oils. Our group of teenage girls loved hanging out in the living rooms and thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit in the back yard. This is a wonderful property for larger groups.

Our stay at Lone Pine Cottage in Bath, Maine, was the perfect end to our East Coast tour, which culminated in a wedding. The home exceeded our expectations—it was even more beautiful than the photos. Gillian, our host, was very attentive and made sure everything was in order before and during our stay. The house was immaculate, with a well-stocked kitchen and all the amenities we needed. Despite the hot August weather, it remained cool inside. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, providing a relaxing retreat. We couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind. Many thanks to Gillian for a wonderful stay.

We had a family wedding in Bath and needed a house that would be big enough for 3 families. This house was perfect and had plenty of bedrooms for everyone, lots of space and the two living rooms were nice also so people could spread out a bit. The kitchen is well stocked and we made use of the fire pit one night which the kids loved. Their are 3 full baths - one in a bedroom on the 2nd floor and the other 2 are accessible to everyone. It was a bit tricky figuering out showers with everyone but we made it work. Otherwise it was a perfect location and everyone enjoyed it.

We all came together for a family wedding in nearby Phippsburg, traveling from Philly, NYC and Boston. Gillian’s property was beyond perfect for our group (two oldies in their 50’s, six in their 20’s and a 9yo beagle). First, besides being blown away by the cleanliness and spectacular decor, we noticed the fresh water bowl left for Walt in the kitchen. Thank you Gillian! We thoroughly enjoyed hanging out in the beautiful kitchen that had literally every and any appliance you may need. The game cabinet was ultilized as well as the fire pit in the back yard. Gillian laid out instructions where needed so expectations were obvious. Easy check-in and check-out. The town of Bath is adorable! Highly recommend this property and property owner!

The house was clean and spacious! With 8 adults, 1 child, and a dog, we felt that there was ample space for us to relax and catch up. The house had everything we needed-from making meals to roasting marshmallows by the campfire. Delicious food in town/the surrounding area and a quick drive to the beach made this the perfect home base. Gillian was attentive and communicative throughout the stay. Would definitely stay again!
