Lomax Lookout I Hot tub, views, Stargazing, Wimberley

The owners went above and beyond accommodating a few special requests and communication was immediate and greatly appreciated.

The view was beautiful and is literally a four min drive from “downtown” Wimberley

***Amazing and secluded hidden gem!*** Minutes from tons of cute boutique shops but somehow also delivers on the quiet, peaceful cabin experience with gorgeous scenic views for miles! It's perfect for a family with kids or even just a couple! Highly recommend stargazing from the hot tub with the jets on full blast! Cannot recommend this place enough!

We had such a wonderful time. The place was perfect. Secluded, but close to town. The hot tub was great, plenty warm enough on cool nights. A lovely note left by the owner with a box of chocolates was the cherry on top.

Only complaint would be the upstairs was extremely hot during the day, couldn’t figure out how to cool it down. Other than that was amazing

The location was amazing and the house was clean and comfortable. We never got the hot tub warm enough, but maybe we didn’t give it enough time.

Hot tub did not work

I booked this last minute as I need some where to just decompress. This place was perfect! The views, the hot tub and the house were great! I’ll definitely be back!

Don’t advertise the amenity of having a hot tub and then call a few hours before your guest arrive informing them it doesn’t work. You basically forced us to stay at that point because we didn’t have time to make other arrangements. I appreciate the fact you offered a discount, but it doesn’t change WHY we wanted to stay at your house in the first place

Nice location. Quaint, secluded cabin with a good view. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not operational during our stay. The rental agency indicated that it was a known issue, which was perplexing, as the listing was advertised as having a hot tub during the time of our booking. The agency did offer to provide a rate adjustment. But I had to feel sorry for the party checking in the day that we left, seeing as how the hot tub still isn’t repaired. Also, be warned: the bed in the upstairs master bedroom is extremely hard. Better bring a pillow topper if you’re sensitive to rigid mattresses.

Amazing view and very flexible with our check in and check out! The house was very clean, comfortable and cozy. I would recommend this for couples or families.

Was a really good stay. Hot tub wouldn’t get hot, but other than that it was really nice.

I thought the place was very nice and had nice views. The only downfall I don’t think it was as clean as it should be. Under the beds was filthy.

My wife & I really enjoyed our stay at the Lomax Lookout. The setting was absolutely beautiful, and the close proximity to Wimberley Square made it very convenient for shopping & meals in town.

It is a beautiful property with a cozy feel. We enjoyed our sister time and left you two new painted rocks to find!!

Overall the place was incredible. I was blown away at the view. The outdoor space is great and provided many things to do and again the VIEW was just incredible. We enjoyed looking at the stars and enjoying the peaceful surrounding. The house is exactly as described and we were very pleased with all of it.

Quiet and peaceful location. Location ideal for visiting other small towns.

We really enjoyed our stay here. What a beautiful view from the deck. Had an issue with the air conditioning on the first day, but the property manager got the issue resolved very quickly.

Great location off the beaten path but close enough to shops and restaurants. The rock painting was very creative and looks awesome in the outdoor garden. The weather was cold and rainy but we were able to enjoy the hot tub and see some beautiful evening skies. The management was helpful and very good about communicating!

Had a great time with friends celebrating our many years of friendship and the Inauguration!Sadly our trip was cut short due to weather...but the property was wonderful!

The stay was fantastic. A long weekend for sister bonding in the hill country! The sunset views were breathtaking and waking up to a full view of the valley every morning was the perfect way to start the day. We enjoyed the hot tub one evening. And the beds were so comfortable, the bedding was cloud soft. 10/10 recommend. And if you're going to Wimberly, be sure and search out the Neon Armadillo BBQ food truck!

Overall the location, house, and accommodations were great! Just a note to families traveling with small children, the two bedrooms are separated by an outdoor staircase and are not on the same floor. It worked out for us and we all shared a room, but if you are looking for separate rooms for parents and kids this location would work better with having older children or teens.

Clean and spacious property. We enjoyed the location and solitude. One of our party had never been to the hill country and this was ideal.

This property is beautiful and secluded. Our biggest issue was not being able to enter the main house until our friends were up since the house access is through their bedroom. Neither bedroom AC works for 95+ Texas heat. We did get a cool front during our stay and then discovered the hot tub did not work. We downloaded the manual and troubleshooted to no avail and contacted the property manager at 7 p.m. with no response until the next morning (with a link to the manual) when we were checking out. We did not consider this vrbo 24/7 support. Overall it was a beautiful property and for the most part we had a great time.

This property perfectly located. Just close enough to Wimberly Square (5 minutes) and just far enough away from any highway noise or neighbors. Lots of wild life to enjoy sitting quitely on the porch. The view is absolutely breathtaking. The rental unit is charmingly decorated and has all the comforts of home. The painted rock activity was super fun and gave us the opportunity to contribute to the painted rock garden that marks our visit.

The view was absolutely gorgeous and the Home was super cute and comfy. The owner's response was quick and interaction was very professional and courteous. Thank you so much for the memories. Joshua
