Log Home in Beautiful Mountain Valley

The property is absolutely beautiful and extremely private. Beautiful brook running through the backyard that my golden retriever enjoyed, fields for him to run through. We saw a beer, deer and fawn. The waterfall was an extra treat and the pond with the views were amazing. There were lots of trails right in the back yard. Definitely a relaxing atmosphere that we will rent again.

Our second time here and love it even more! It’s so peaceful but still close to restaurants and anything we could need with kids. David checked in a few times because we got a big storm overnight, but everything turned out perfect! My sons are already asking to go back

The photos don't do this cabin and area justice- you really need to see it for yourself! It is a beautiful, quiet, more remote area that is perfect to decompress. There are trails and a waterfall to walk to right from the driveway. The cabin has everything you can possibly need. It is set up almost like two suites- a bedroom and bathroom on each floor and three areas with couches (one in the downstairs bedroom, one in the main living area, and one in the loft.) This made it very convenient as we were traveling as 4 adults- two couples. Each couple had their own living space, as well as space to spend time together as a group. David was very responsive and informative. I would recommend staying here and hope to come back!

We loved our stay at the cabin. It is beautiful, so peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed the yard, walking path and short hike to the river and waterfall. The inside of the cabin is rustic and cozy. The wood stove just added to the atmosphere. Our 7 yr old Golden was right at home. We plan to return! David was a great host. We highly recommend this place.

We loved staying in David’s cabin! It’s clean and tucked away from the world. In two days in April we experienced all four seasons: Sunny skies, rain, and even big fluffy snowflakes! The brook is the best white noise and the view is beautiful. Highly recommend this spot!!

Everything we wanted

This place was paradise for of two very active dogs! So beautiful and quiet. The cabin was even better in person! Pictures dont do this place justice!

David was a wonderful host! The cabin was beautiful, clean , warm and fully stocked, We felt refreshed and had a fabulous stay! The cabin was tucked away secluded which is exactly what we love, we bundled up and took a quick drive up to the bridge and took a fun hike through the snow and found the frozen milbrook catscade waterfall, it was breathtaking, I was able to take some beautiful pictures. Enjoyed the warm wood stove! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you David

David was such a welcoming host.the cabin was full of amazing amenities a wood stove in living room and a fire place in bedroom that we sat in front of every night. The property outside was breathtaking a beautiful Brooke in back yard a 5 minute walk to the pond were the dogs swam and ran in field for hours. This cabin is such a great place to unplug and just relax our dogs had the best time there.we are planning a trip back very soon.The Espinola’s

Every thing was perfect

This is the best property we have ever rented, so quiet and peaceful. And it has everything you need. Did I mention quiet? The short waterfall walk was a delightful add to the experience. Loved it!

We have stayed a few times now. Each time the Cabin is more than comfortable, stocked with everything you need. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Between the waterfall, river and pond we had more than enough to keep us busy. Already looking forward to our next visit!

My husband and I escape up north twice a year to decompress from our crazy lives. We found this cabin on VRBO as we were looking for somewhere to stay to explore the Lincoln area and Kancamagus Highway. I have to say the reviews were amazing but definitely understated how awesome the sound of the brook is behind the cabin, the view, and the huge waterfall a short distance away! The cabin itself was very spacious and having two full baths was especially enjoyable as I am constantly being kicked out at home. This location is extremely quiet, private, and a great place to unwind. We are definitely considering returning in the fall if available. David provided excellent communication throughout our stay with very clear instructions and additional information. Highly recommend!

So relaxing at cabin lots of hiking loved the sound of the river. Has everything u would ever need.

We have stayed at the cabin several times now and it is one of our favorite spots. It has everything you need to relax, unplug, and enjoy the peaceful area. David is a fantastic host. He provides detailed information prior to your arrival and is very responsive should you need anything during your stay. This particular visit we had some less than favorable weather and he was in consistent contact regarding snow removal and options should the freezing rain cause a power outage. Most stays we opt to not even leave the cabin because we enjoy being there and taking walks around that area so much.

So quiet! The cabin was clean, tidy and comfortable! Snowshoed, hiked, lounged on the porch all taking in the spring thaw. Host David was attentive and provided great information toward a simple, worry-free stay. We hope to be back!!

Fantastic property and location.

This cabin is such a beautiful location and David is a very attentive host that has thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable & enjoyable as possible. We come year after year and love it more each time and during each season. Can’t wait to return!

It was a beautiful weekend away. While we had to travel up in a snowstorm, it was still easy to get to, and we stayed warm and cozy the entire time. The host stayed extremely communicative to ensure we stayed warm even when temperatures dipped down below zero. We would definitely consider rebooking!

This house is one of our favorite rentals. We travel a lot in the NH area and this one takes the cake. No homes in front or sides of this beautiful cabin and the mountains are just breathtaking. The cabin is so comfortable with plenty of room and all the comforts of home as well. There are hiking trails right outsides of the home as well. My dogs were so happy to run through the snow. David the owner is a great communicator and checked in many times to ensure all of our needs were met and that makes a difference. The wood stove works wonders after a day of skiing we lived hanging out near it watching a movie. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful home like this!

We (spouse, 21 year old son and girlfriend) and dogs really enjoyed our stay in David’s log cabin. The location is breathtaking, and I so enjoyed the walking trails and the waterfall. We made several family dinners in the lovely kitchen and the wood stove added lovely ambience. Idyllic visit

This is our second time staying at this log cabin. The reason we come back to this cabin is because of the overall great energy we feel when we are there. From the beautiful views, the cozy fireplaces, the sound of the running stream in the back of the cabin, and also to see our dog run around the land playing fetch. Whether you want to potentially spend a white Christmas (if it snows, it did for us (lucky), or or to see the beautiful leaves falling in the fall. This is at the top of my list. Thank you David for aol of the great communication and helping us with anything we could have needed throughout our stay as well as giving us advice on where to go skiing.

Love this place in EVERY season!

We completely enjoyed our week at David’s cabin. It felt like we were staying at a family members cabin - in a good way! Plenty of wood for the fireplace and stove (which we used every night). Cozy sheets, extra pillows and blankets. Great assortment of books, puzzles, games and CDs. David was a pleasure to rent from because he really cares. When snow was predicted he texted to make sure we knew about the incoming weather and checked the next morning to make sure we could get out of the driveway (which we could). Reading the guest book lots of folks are repeat renters, we understand why. Thanks for a great escape to the woods David!

We visit yearly to enjoy the quiet, peaceful beauty of nature when snuggled up in this cabin or hiking the area with our dog. Sitting on the porch at night with a warm beverage listening to the stream that runs through the property is heaven.
