Log Cabin Get Away-River Access with Deep Water, Pets OK, Rustic Cute

We always have a great time at the log cabin!

We loved staying at the Log Cabin Get Away. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. There are detailed directions and instructions posted at the cabin. They have lots of games, both indoor and outdoor, pool and river floats, coffee, fixings for s'mores, beach and bath towels, full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, everything you could think of! They have all the extras just in case you forgot something. I was very impressed and would highly recommend.

We LOVED our stay at the log cabin! We had our family of 7 with a baby and it accommodated all of us. All amenities you could need to stay for the week. From kitchen needs to baby items, etc. The pool and 2 private Blanco River entrances were a huge hit for us! Being 10 min from town was a bonus. We will definitely be back. Jim and Denise have the perfect hill country spot!

We had a great time. Easy check in, yard for my dog and plenty of coffee. Very convenient for the wedding we had at Old Glory Ranch just down the street. Would recommend for a great getaway of relaxation.The Sonys

Faboulous cabin and property, great for pets and families. River parks are absolutely worth checking out, and the deer everywhere is pretty awesome for everyone.

We chose the log cabin because of the abundance of deer! My daughter is a lover of deer, and we wanted her to be able to get up close and even feed them, which we were able to! The only downside was that we did have to clean the cabin on arrival as it is in wooded area, and little critters had made their way inside. The owner was immediately responsive once I notified her of the condition and did refund our cleaning fee. After our stay, she also immediately interviewed a new housekeeper, so hopefully that issue will now be rectified! Thanks again for letting us stay.

This was our third stay at the Log Cabin Getaway. We always absolutely love it. The private river access is so nice. We had the river all to ourselves most days. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the front porch and enjoyed the deer and the birds. The cabin is quaint and comfortable and has everything you may need.

Good cabin feel. Spacious enough. Nice porch and fun little playground area. Good for dogs as it’s fenced in back. Fun for kids to feed deer. Great river and beach/picnic access as well as small but just enough pool. Might want to fix wooden boards on side of the house that covers something, as one was broken in half, and a tiny bit of a hazard. Playscape needed cleaning. Also, shed inside needs cleaning and organizing. Plus, lighter on gas grill didn’t work, and tank was empty so we couldn’t grill. But inside it was fine.

Cabin was very cozy and because we had rain it made it even more enjoyable. It had all needed to cook(pans and utensils). We enjoy our time here. Kids loved to feed the deer.

We had a wonderful time! House was exactly as described and we had everything we needed. Denise was very nice and easy to get in touch with. We will definitely be coming back. We came for the weekend for Schlitterbahn and the distance to the park was not far. Next time we come, we will be going to the river!

We really loved our stay here! The host was very easy to communicate with, the property was perfect, and we loved making s’mores and feeding the local deer family with the kids. Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed another wonderful trip to Wimberley and the Blanco River. The cabin was great and very clean. We had everything we needed!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The river access is super close walking distance(a couple of mins!). Loved feeding the deer, owner provided cornfeed for them, which was great. House was clean and well equipped. Never got around to smores, but will do next time. We truly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend! P.s. if staying in Wimberly in summer, make a reservation at blue hole park, it was our fave activity:)

We were excited to get back to Wimberley and explore without Covid restrictions from our trip in 2020. We went out and explored the town, zipline, Blue Hole, San Marcos outlet mall, etc. Everything was super close by and my boys had a blast doing all the fun stuff! The house is quaint and had everything we needed for a family getaway!

We found our new favorite place to stay in Wimberly! We visit a couple times a year and we love this cabin. Perfect spot for our family to relax and enjoy the river and amenities in town. The cabin is equipped with anything and everything you’ll need and it’s very well setup and decorated. The river parks are our favorite and the people are always friendly. We had deer visit and I saw a fox on an evening walk. This is definitely a place we’ll rebook again. Everything for our stay was great!

We absolutely love this property and haver visited it for the past seven years. It has two private river access which the kids thoroughly enjoy. Dear come on the property And their owners provide corn that you can feed them. The cabin is attractive and well stocked. There is a fire pit and s’mores making.
