When we arrived, the front door was wide open, and the key was inside the house on the counter. There is one window AC unit to keep the bedroom cooled but the rest of the loft was hot. It’s very old and outdated, and the bedding is nowhere near what it shows online. We tried to contact the managers to let them know about it being open and also to ask to borrow an iron because there’s no dryer or iron so my clothes were wrinkly the whole visit. There’s a small coffee maker but there weren’t any filters. The phone number listed for assistance is incorrect. For the same price we could’ve stayed in a nice hotel.
Great location for me as a photographer, I was able to walk over and get s
We had a great stay in Colorado Springs. The best part was that it is close to many attractions. The property was very clean but could use a little updating. The window AC in the bedroom was a bit noisy but we enjoyed our stay overall.
The property was a great location across from Red Rock Canyon and accessible from Highway 24. The owner and property manager we’re very nice and available. The only thing I would recommend is to understand the property is very outdated especially based on the rate. We ended up leaving one day earlier because of the uncomfortable amenities. (day bed poor condition, minimal air circulation, window unit half hanging out the window, tiny dorm type fridge, no dishwasher, stove top broken) we also understand how hard it is to maintain these types of rentals but thought it was important to notate.
Older property but it was very Clean. Great location-suggest going to Manitou Springs exit and turning back on 24 during high traffic. However if you plan to cook a lot, there may be an issue. The unit had one tiny fry pan, several small/ mid size pots, and a very small refrigerator. There were only 2 of us so it wasn't really a problem.
Overall a great place to stay. Close to main attractions in the area. Only downside of location is that the area across the interstate doesn't feel the safest, but isn't the worst. I was worried about noise since it backs up to a large road, but it didn't bother us at all. The kitchen could use some upgrades (garbage disposal, dishwasher, oven), but is fine for a short stay. The owners are very easy to work with. We texted them a question and got a reply within minutes.
This place worked out ideally for us. And if you are concerned about the pictures, the unit had plenty of light and space. Sure not a new place, it has a few coats of paint on it if you know what I mean, but it was very clean. Dev, our host, was very attentive, easy to work with. A big jar of coffee ready to brew, sealed half and half in the fridge, a bottle of wine waiting for us on the table. Do note, it backs up to US-24 which does give off some road noise, but if I needed a place close to Manitou Springs for a couple nights, I'd book again.
We had a great time in Colorado Springs. The Loft was very close to all attractions. We had a problem with the electricity in the bedroom but Dev sent Mike and fixed the problem. Overall we enjoyed our time in Colorado Springs.
Nice private space, spacious with all the amenities. Enjoyed sitting on the deck. Walking distance from Red Rock Canyon. Could hear traffic from highway 24 right behind from the bedroom but was not too bad. Overall great stay. Thank you!
We really enjoyed our stay in this home- it was very clean and homey, with everything we needed to feel comfortable (and stay in and cook a couple of times!). It's in a great spot to reach everything you'd need to get to in Colorado Springs (by car). Highly recommend staying here!
