Location! *Special Rates* Lake~Shopping~Groups~Marina Escape

The host was very welcoming. Amenities were ok. Yard was not clean. Cupboard dishes were dirty. There was not enough cooking and eating utensils and pots and pans. There were no board games in the house for a fun family evening. The beds in all five bedrooms were has hard as a rock. No one slept very good.

Slept 10people comfortably.

Master shower no hot water. Dish washer needs a fix to the upper tray. Other than that a great property.

The place was not on the marina as indicated in the description but was on a dirty canal and the picture was of a unit that was across the way on the same canal. The floor was filthy. We scrubbed it twice with vinegar and it was still dirty. The furniture was dirty. The kitchen faucet was broken. The plumbing was subpar. We are extremely disappointed.

WORST experience ever and I have rented many homes thru VRBO. The floor plan is awesome if you're in need to rent a home for a very large party. We had a total of 14 people and felt that there were rooms for everyone. When we arrived, we noticed the house smelled like marijuana which we brushed off. The kitchen faucet was broken and constantly dripping, and the coffee pot was filthy with layers of mold that required a hot soak and deep cleaning. The master toilet is broke, doesn't flush well and also the bathroom on the second floor has issues. This house has a ton of plumbing issues. The shower has missing parts. Cold is hot and hot is cold! Mandy, which she called herself the owner at first, came by to replace the light bulbs that went out and told us she would bring a grill. Granted this conversation took place on day 1, we rented the home for 6 nights! Day 4 we still had NO grill. I informed Mandy of the plumbing issues, and she acted like she was not aware. The plumber flaked on coming by. Mandy came over unannounced to fix the master toilet. She left tools and a mess in the water closet and apparently forgot her cell. Our teenage sons were eating lunch, and someone randomly walked in the house ran upstairs to grab the phone left in the water closet! At this point, I had enough. We requested a refund and she quit responding to my texts. At one point she admitted the house was a headache! I asked for the owners contact info and she has yet to reply!

Very nice property with well kept and spacious rooms. The two living rooms areas downstairs were also spacious and well kept. Would definitely stay again if the occasion presents itself.

Would stay here again the only thing is no cable tv

We stayed for a long weekend for a softball tournament and had a great time. The home is definitely lacking in some kitchen essentials but we found it comfortable and the property manager for our stay was helpful and even dropped off some items that were lacking. I will say the home sleeps 16, but has beds for 12 people at most and three couches. Sleeping 16 would be a stretch.

After all the threats in the listing about being respectful of the neighbors, it would have been nice if the house was better. The floors turned your socks black, the dishes in the cupboard were not washed (there were lots of Cascade pods for the dishwasher), the coffee pots had grounds in the baskets, not all the sheets were changed (we brought our own Tide pods) and the front screen door was broken. I know we left the house cleaner than we found it. It made a great base location for all we wanted to do. The ability to park 3 vehicles at the property was a plus. I am reasonably certain that this poor review means I will get a negative VRBO rating and not get back my cleaning deposit on the house. Alas, I am willing to risk it.

property is nice and cozy, but needs more cleaning. sheets and bed coverings were super dirty, that was disgusting!!! One of the rooms the lights did not work. The kitchen needed to be more supplies like spoons, blender, dish soap, etc...
