Walk, don't drive to the Beach! We feel we have one of the best locations in Oceanside Village, a secure gated family community in Surfside Beach. The Ocean is literally steps from our door, it is less than a two minute walk!

The house has been recently updated to include a brand new kitchen with new stainless steel appliances. We also recently updated to laminate flooring throughout as well as six panel doors, and freshly painted inside and out! The master bathroom has also been renovated to include all new fixtures and a walk in shower. The house is located in the cul-de-sac of Lark, the closest street to the ocean at the corner of Melody Lane and Ocean Blvd.

With our home just steps away from the beach, you can enjoy the ease and convenience of an oceanfront home without the oceanfront price tag! In addition, you will love all the family-friendly amenities Oceanside Village has to offer.

As a guest in our home you are free to enjoy the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, children's water play park, lounge pool and spa, playground, as well as tennis, bocce and pickle ball, courts.

There is no need to drive to the beach, no hassles with parking, and the house is convenient for a quick trip home. Our location makes an evening stroll on the beach or catching an amazing sunrise so easy to enjoy!

Avoid the hassle of packing sheets and towels and returning home with laundry. Our rates include a linen package that provides professionally sanitized bed linens and towels. The beds will be made for you upon arrival, and you may depart for home hassle free, leaving the laundry to the professional cleaning team.

We are confident you will find our smoke and pet free home comfortable, fully equipped and convenient!

The house has keyless entry so there are no keys to lose or return. Guests check in and out without the need for any contact, making it quick and efficient. On arrival day, if the house is ready prior to 4:00 PM, we will text you that you may check in early.

There is parking for three vehicles right in front of the house. No need to jockey around cars or be blocked in.

The community outdoor swimming pools and children’s water activity area are about one half mile from the house, walkable, but also a short drive with ample parking. The community has a new playground, tennis, bocce and pickle ball courts, again, just approximately one half a mile from the house. Oceanside Village has also done a complete renovation of the indoor pool building, restrooms, and had added an indoor hot tub for your enjoyment.

Golf carts may be rented from Oceanside Village by the week or daily, and they make transportation within the gated community fun and memorable. The rented golf carts are for use within the gated community, and not for highway use.

The house has a large front porch which is a perfect 'drop zone' for sandy shoes and beach gear! The storage box on the front porch contains plenty of sand toys you are welcome to use! The outdoor shower is a great way to wash the sand off before entering the house. There is also a garden hose that is perfect for your feet after a stroll on the beach.

We enjoy cooking so you will find our brand new kitchen is fully equipped (October 2025) with a quiet dishwasher, microwave and ice maker. You will find ample dishware, glassware and cookware to cook meals and the large island makes serving them a breeze. In addition, there is a kitchen table that seats four and a dining room table that seats six comfortably.

The large sunroom offers ocean views with a Roku tv, sofa and chair and a table with chairs, making this the perfect hangout for the kids, a puzzle or board game or even working remotely with the secure wireless internet.

The master bedroom has a queen size memory foam mattress, ocean views, smart tv with Spectrum Cable service, and a newly remodeled private bath with a walk in shower. The laundry room offers a full size washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, located off of the master bedroom.

The second bedroom has a queen size memory foam mattress and dresser. The third bedroom, perfect for the kids, is cozy with a full size Sealy Posturepedic bed. Finally, the fourth bedroom is away from the other three, with a full size bed and new Sealy Posturepedic mattress and a private half bath. The main bathroom has a tub/shower combination.

Living room has a sofa, love seat, ocean views, a 52 inch smart television with Spectrum Cable service. The house is equipped with 500 MPBS secure wireless internet speed to handle all of your devices.

There rear exit, located on Lark, (and entrance, if you obtain a key card) offers quick and easy access to Ocean Blvd and the many nearby attractions and new restaurants! The key card may be obtained from the Village office, during normal operating hours, for $30 cash, $10 will be refunded when you return the card at the end of your stay.
The main entrance to the Village does not require use of a key card.

The Garden City Pier is just one mile south, with fishing, entertainment, arcade, and beautiful views. The new Surfside Pier is one mile north. The Surfside Pier area offers several new restaurants along Ocean Blvd. Take advantage of the new walking path and side walks to safely walk to either pier!

Oceanside Village is conveniently located in Surfside Beach, making it just a short drive to peaceful Murrell's Inlet, a popular dining and water activity area. Market Common entertainment complex, Broadway on the Beach, Myrtle Beach Airport (MYR) is just nine miles away. There are several golf courses, miniature golf, restaurants, and shopping in Surfside Beach and Garden City--enough to surely keep the family entertained!

    In addition to being such gracious hosts, the house was perfect for our family. Plenty of living space and nice to have the extra room with the tv for the kids. The outdoor shower is great - it made it much easier to keep the floors in the house sand-free. The location couldn’t be more perfect - just right across the street from the public access to the beach. All in all, a great place to stay! Thanks for having us!

    We really enjoyed our brief stay! The house was clean and spacious. Plenty of space for the family spread out in the living areas. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. The owner was helpful and responsive when contacted. Check in/out was really easy. We would love to rent this house in the summer to get full use of all it has to offer as well the community amenities!

    The place was everything the listing shows. It was spacious for 4 adults and 4 kids. Great location to the beach. If you like to do alot in North Myrtle be prepared to drive 25+ minutes. The pool was nice, but could get very crowded. Overall I would definitely stay again!

    This was our first time staying in a house since we’ve been coming to SC for our family vacations. We usually stay in a condo on the beach. If you’re looking for affordable housing in close proximity to the beach then this is your place. On numerous occasions during our stay family commented about how convenient this house and the one next door that is owned by the same family is to the beach. It was no problem to run the family across to the beach and run back to the house to make lunch or refill the cooler. The house is very nicely laid out, plenty of room for everyone to spread out if they needed space or plenty of room to gather together for a dinner and you didn’t feel crapped. We are looking forward to coming back next year.
