Sandy Sea-cret is a custom-designed vacation rental. It is a newly built ocean-front home that is a true beach front house . It is located in a brand new gated development with in the city of Galveston (NOT a west end island home with a 30 minute drive to Galveston). It is minutes away from the major attractions. The house offers super easy beach access and amazing panoramic views of the Gulf!

It is a spacious 3-story house that has 3506 sq ft of living space plus over 900 sq ft of theoceanfront deck area. The property has 5 bedrooms: 3 bedrooms each with a king-size bed and a private en suite bathroom, 1 bedroom with 2 queen-size beds, and 1 bunk bedroom with 6 custom-built bunk beds. The beach house can accommodate groups of up to 16 people.

We don’t use any management companies. We operate this property fully by ourselves! This means that we are available 24/7 for our guests and that our guests are our absolute top priority. We go above and beyond to ensure that those who stay at our beach house have an amazing experience and make lifelong memories!

Our kitchen is fully stocked, has 2 refrigerators, and a double oven. Our living room has a 4K UHD TV and a fireplace.
• BALCONY: 8 polywood chairs and 1 polywood double glider. Amazing view of the ocean.
• MASTER BEDROOM 1: king-size bed, stand-alone bathroom, walk-in tile shower, walk-in closet, walkout balcony facing the street.

THIRD FLOOR
• MASTER BEDROOM 2: king-size bed, fireplace, en suite bathroom with double sinks, walk-in tile shower, stand-alone bathtub, walk-in closet. The bedroom has an ocean view and access to the balcony with sitting chairs.
• GUEST BEDROOM: king-size bed, a custom-made oversized armoire for storage, en suite bathroom with double sinks and a walk-in tile shower. This bedroom also has an ocean view and access to the balcony with sitting chairs.
• QUEEN BEDROOM: 2 queen-size beds, walkout balcony viewing the city of Galveston.
• BUNK BEDROOM: 6 custom bunk beds with XL twin mattresses.
The Queen Bedroom and Bunk Bedroom share a bathroom with double sinks and a separate walk-in shower room.
• CUPOLA: spiral stairs to the third floor, amazing view from the highest point of the house.

HOUSE RULES
• Must be 30 years old or older to book the property. All reservations are subject to a signed Short-term Rental Agreement. The guests must review, sign, and send back the rental agreement along with a copy of a valid ID within 48 hours of the booking.
• No loud large gatherings (no spring break groups, parties, or prom celebrations, no youth groups without adult supervision).
• No more than 16 people including kids, infants, and day-time visitors in the house at all times.
• Our house is not child-proofed (no locks on cabinet doors, no outlet plug covers, there are knives in the kitchen drawers, etc.). Parents will be responsible for walking through the house and identifying hazards to their children.
• No smoking (the rule includes: no smoking inside, on the balconies, no e-cigarettes), no drugs, no drug paraphernalia, and no underage drinking.
• Pets of any kind are NOT allowed anywhere on the premises (inside or outside the house).
• Driveway parking only. Our driveway can accommodate up to 6 mid-sized vehicles. No street parking (strict HOA rule). We do have designated overflow onsite parking within 2 minutes of walking time.
• During holidays and weekends the minimum stay is 2 nights.

RENTAL AGREEMENT
All our reservations are subject to a signed short-term rental agreement. The rental agreement contains the basic information about the property, house rules, cancellation policy, etc.

The guests must review, sign, and return the signed agreement along with a copy of a valid ID within 48 hours of the booking confirmation. Otherwise, the reservation will be canceled. We use DocuSign to send our rental agreement to make it convenient for our guests to sign it digitally.

Sometimes we receive multiple inquiries for the same dates. We confirm reservations ONLY after we receive the signed rental agreement. We do not hold dates for our guests.

CANCELLATION
• Our reservations are NON-refundable and NOT re-schedulable.
• If you are concerned about the possibility of rescheduling, early departure, or cancellation for ANY reason, we strongly suggest that you purchase travel insurance to protect your investment. VRBO recommends CSA travel insurance company (for more information and their plans visit their website at vacationprotection.com). It will help protect your investment and will save you a lot of headaches.

SAFETY DEVICES
We have 3 Ring Doorbell cameras overlooking our driveway, ground level, and backyard. We also have security cameras facing the driveway, ground level, backyard, and second-floor balcony. All devices will be on during your stay. Cameras are only used for security purposes. There are no cameras inside the house.

    The house was beautiful and provided stunning views of the gulf from the very spacious decks.The house was very spacious and provided a lot of living and sleeping space. The owners provided a very high level of communication as well as a ton of instructions.While the community was private and secure I had to drop the rating a bit due to ongoing construction of the house next store which started at 7am and ran through 5pm.This is sometimes expected in a beach community but the noise at times districted from the peacefulness of the scenery and there were many contractor vehicles parked in the streets which made backing out from the driveway difficult at times.The owners

    When the dishwasher broke in the middle of our stay and couldn't be repaired until after we left, the owners dropped off plenty of disposable plates, cups, etc right away! Only thing not exactly as shown in pictures was that a new house was being built on the vacant lot next door. Otherwise, everything was exactly as expected. Would stay again!

    We were very impressed with this house and all the amenities. Gary and Anna were excellent hosts and have thought of everything when furnishing the house. We had 13 people (includes 5 kids ages 1 - 6) and never felt cramped. The kids absolutely loved the bunk room.This is the first time we've ever stayed on the east end of the island; normally we stay on the west end. The location is excellent. It's very close to lots of activities and restaurants. Also extremely close to the Bolivar ferry, which never disappoints. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here.

    I’m a native Houstonian and have been to Galveston many times over the years but only on the west end. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a nice property on the east side close to town! We were celebrating a birthday so appreciated the short drive into town for a special dinner. The property is located in a very nice and small gated community. The house is very nice and was clean for our arrival. Amazing views and an impressive outside area right on the beach. I throughly appreciated all the details of signs and instructions throughout the house that made it easy to know where things are and how to operate each item. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of towels offered in each bathroom. Communication was excellent. Will rent again in the future.

    This is a fantastic property. I have never stayed on the East End of Galveston Island. This property is close to everything. The farthest thing was Moody Gardens, 15 minutes. There is no half-our drive like there is from the West End. Still, there is a lot of privacy. We had a broad clean beach just over a boardwalk that was almost empty most of the week in October we stayed. The property is in a secure gated neighborhood. The owners were very helpful and answered questions that came up during our stay. The property is huge, clean, modern. Easily holds four couples plus several kids. The first floor is about 20 feet tall and is a storm-surge floor. It has a greatly-appreciated shower to keep sand out of the house, and lots of enclosed secure storage for beach stuff. It also has an elevator, the hot tub, grill, and fire pit, all of which work. Up the stairs, or the elevator, are the actual living areas. The second floor has a large open-concept kitchen, equipped with everything we needed, two refrigerators, dining, and a living area. Then, there is a very large deck overlooking the ocean. Perfect at night. The master is nice, with its own deck, also on this floor. Third floor had three large bedrooms, and then a large bunk bed room with beds built in pods, almost like on a ship. The kids loved that. There are decks off all the bedrooms. Then, there is a fourth floor look-out. Anyways, great property. We will be back.

    House was great we enjoyed our stay emensely. When we visit Galveston which is frequently ewe usually go to East beach so we were right at home fishing and having fun on the beach. The house was very comfortable, very well equipped with everything you need. There were signs everywhere you turned that told you what not to do, and I mean everywhere which was a bit of a put off.     Great house for our large family. The house is truly as awesome as the pictures show. Very well thought out and lots of space. Close and easy access to the beach are a must for our grandchildren. Gary and Anna are great hosts and very available. Best house we’ve ever rented.
