Our holiday home Heerwinkel is located in the heart of the old town. The more than 400 year old, historic half-timbered house is one of the city's monuments. It was extensively renovated in an ecological way and elaborately designed in collaboration with an architect and the monument protection office according to historical guidelines.

With its modern and high-quality equipment, its individual furnishings and its medieval character, Heerwinkel 4 is a unique place. The high standard of the house was confirmed by a 4 star certification from the German Tourism Association.

Our cozy holiday home on three levels is approximately 76 square meters and can accommodate two to four people. The kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, ceramic hob, extractor hood and microwave. Thanks to the extensive range of pots, pans, roasters, toaster, hand mixer and baking pan, cooking is also fun on vacation. The dining room with a large oak dining table connects directly to the kitchen via two steps and invites you to linger.

The bathroom offers enough space for personal items. The washing machine has an integrated dryer, so that your laundry can be washed and dried comfortably even on vacation.

The two bedrooms are on the first floor: a bedroom with a spacious double bed (2m x 2m) and a second bedroom with two single beds.

A steep staircase leads from the mezzanine to the third level on the roof. A seating area with a television, a DVD player and a stereo system provides additional comfort. There are also various board games, DVDs and a small library with a selection of literature, as well as some cookbooks, travel guides and hiking maps of the region. From the light-flooded living room you have an enchanting view over the romantic old town to the mountains.

Enjoy your stay, use the tranquility and the surroundings to reflect and relax and be inspired by the coexistence of culture, history and nature.

The house is very comfortable and is ideally situated in the center of Goslar. Easily accessible by train. There is plenty to do in the direct surroundings of the house (we did everything on foot).

My wife and I stayed 9 nights. The property is accurately portrayed in the listing. It is in a quiet location in a beautiful neighborhood, close to the center. The kitchen is small, making cooking a bit challenging, but it is very well equipped. We appreciated the quality cookware and the plentiful dishes and cutlery. The combination washer dryer was very useful. The bedding was comfortable and high quality. The stairs were the only negative, especially the steep stairs to the upper living area. Easy check in and communication with the owner.

It was truly impressive to stay in such a special house, located next to the river and the Imperial Palace of Goslar! The property is equipped with everything needed to feel at home. Important note: the numerous steps require a lot of caution!

This traditional old slate covered house provided us with an excellent base four five days from which to explore the historic town of Goslar. The house has been tastefully renovated to provide high quality living spaces that not only look good but are also practical. We hope to return.
