Livin' the Dream at Chelan Lookout Vacation Rentals

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was good overall. However, we were quite disappointed with the description. It says there’s a great lake view with a picture, but in reality, it’s mostly covered by trees. They should either trim the trees or update the description.There was no plastic wrap or aluminum foil provided. The seasonings also need to be updated, as some (like the oil) seemed old. We used the air fryer, but it wasn’t clean, so we had to clean it before using it. In addition, the breakers in the kitchen tripped twice during our stay.

They literally thought of everything. The only adjustment I would make is the mattresses on a number of the large beds. Ours had a big dip in the middle and it was pretty uncomfortable and I know a couple of the other ones were not super comfortable as well. Other than that it was an amazing location and everything about the house is a five-star.

Great weekend getaway for a group of family and friends. The house had everything we needed - great kitchen, comfortable beds, and lots of activities. Would stay here again!

Lots of space for everyone to sprawl - outdoor spaces weren't usable because of the snow, but that didn't cause any issues for our group. The community is very family-friendly and we all thoroughly enjoyed the pool Glow Party. As mentioned in other reviews, the dishwasher is hardly functional and does not do a good job of cleaning dishes. Unfortunate when you're on vacation and doing dishes for 10 people. The disposal didn't work either. Also, we were surprised we couldn't access the garage. Perhaps I missed that note when making the booking? Finally, the front door would not latch properly to lock. We notified the front office of all of this so hopefully it's not an issue for future guests. Still would definitely stay here again. Would appreciate if the rental office didn't text home listings/ownership opportunities throughout our entire stay.

Enough room for everyone, and the downstairs living room with bunk beds was a life saver. the small kids loved the built in bunk beds and with the railings on the top bunks felt safe with the kids playing on them. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the dishwasher. If you use the dishwasher make sure you wash the dishes first, if there is any food on them that food will still be there when the dishes come out. Everything else was great.

We enjoyed our 6 night stay in this home with our family during a family reunion in Chelan. It is beautifully appointed -white and bright with a “beach” feel. The kitchen is supplied for virtually all your cooking needs. The Pebble Ice maker was a huge hit with our family! The wrap around patio has comfortable seating on the upper deck and was a wonderful gathering spot day or night. Any concerns/questions we had were rapidly addressed by the management staff. The home is next to a small grassy area which worked well for several family gatherings during our stay (chairs and tables can be rented from the office). We’ve had numerous family reunions in several states over the years, but by far, this was the best location for finding large, modern homes for rent that served the needs of families of varying sizes. Lake Chelan is spectacular, there are loads of water activities and the town is charming. We’d gladly go back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Living the Dream and the whole reason I chose this one was the deck and huge back yard with amenities. So I was annoyed when we go to sit on the top deck to watch the sunset and the fire pit doesn’t work. Customer service was great and came right over but they couldn’t fix it. Then after dinner we decided to enjoy the back yard fire pit and the jacuzzi, and none of the string lights worked. We called the office again and they came out and couldn’t get the lights to work either. So both nights we sat by the fire and jacuzzi in the dark. I thought the people in the office were rather lovely and tried to help, but how do you rent a place for the weekend and major things aren’t working ? We spent a ton on money to enjoy things in the dark. To be honest I was very disappointed to say the least.
