Stayed Sep 1, 2023The house was beautiful and in a beautiful setting. The kitchen and bedrooms were very well appointed and had everything we needed. Large house that easily accommodated 12 people. We spent lots of time just sitting and swimming off the dock which was great. The host was amazing and helpful. Great stay!

Stayed Jul 13, 2023It was exactly as described but even better! Beautifully decorated, private, spacious home nestled on a brow overlooking the lake, just steps away from a large dock on a clear lake where swimming, sunning and fishing were enjoyed by all. Even in July, cool breezes were felt on the large screened porch, due to the shaded wooded area surrounding it. And its location off the main lake provided quite mornings, nights and evenings. The well stocked kitchen, commercial refrigerator, separate ice machine,Traeger grill, ample parking just added to the perfection we experienced. The layout of the house was perfect for late sleepers and early risers, four totally separate sleeping areas. We have rented many vacation homes but never have I had a host as responsive as Jim. I had never rented on Smith Lake so I had many questions but each one was answered promptly and thoroughly. We definitely plan on returning and I am telling all my friends about this special getaway. Note: We rented a pontoon boat from Squirrels Boat Rentals just a few miles from the house via water and was very pleased with his service.
