Little Twin Lake Cottage, Relaxing Updated Lakehouse - All Sports Lake

Check-in was smooth (keyless entry)Kitchen was stocked with EVERYTHING one might need! Even a pie dish, so I was able to make cornbread! As someone who works remote, the Wi-Fi was just fine. The home was stocked with towels, trash bags, toilet paper…all the necessities! The home has been redone very nicely, the beds and blankets were all comfy. We truly wanted for nothing. The only surprisingly thing was the lake was very very small, but that’s my fault as I did zero research on that. However, the beach on the property and the little area to swim was perfect for our family with kids! All you need is a kayak and a paddle board on this lake and the owners provided that! The fishing was okay…again, fun enough for the kids! The grill and the fire pit were in great locations. The neighbors with the swim dock were SO nice!! Our family took a vote that we would come back (though we do try to go to a different place every year).

We had a wonderful long weekend, the house accommodated 3 adults and 5 kids/teens with ease and was clean and well appointed. Great location right on the lake.

Doug was very friendly and accommodating. The house was very nice with everything you need. Kitchen was very well stocked. Pontoon boat was also very nice. Our family very much enjoyed our stay!!

We loved this house! It was obviously updated and spotless! Even the dishes and glasses were top notch. The lake is small but it worked perfectly for us. We didn’t need to worry about boat traffic while our kids enjoyed themselves. I would definitely rent their pontoon. It was in great condition and a very nice model. We really enjoyed ourselves in this renovated home!

I was leery because of the contract and paperwork prior to our stay but since I have never had an issue with an owner with previous stays, we went ahead with the reservation. I am so glad we did! The house was so cute and clean. The amount of water toys and games that were available and not listed, was a fun surprise. I have a 14 year and 10 year old and they spent hours on the lily pad. We also rented the boat which was nice to use for swimming in deeper areas. I gave four stars for listing inaccuracy. It has since been updated. The house had upgrades made after we booked and he added beds to the basement were great. It would have been a tight fit before that change. I would maybe suggest a curtain to the basement door and a couch or reclining chairs on the deck, for naps! Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and Doug was very friendly and accommodating. It worked out well for our small family. The only thing I would have changed is not having access from the deck to go to the lake. With the little ones it was a little hard to either carry them down the basement stairs or walk around from the front of the house. The updates in the house are beautiful and it has a perfect lake view.

This house worked out great for our family. Many little touches (soap, towels, sheets) made our stay at the lake feel a bit luxurious! Super clean and comfy! Kids loved the pontoon and lily pad!
