It was very clean and easy to access. Plenty of room for a group, especially a family with kids. Some kitchen items were missing, but host was responsive to making these available in the future.

Clean and very close to activities. Very nice bathroom and laundry. We would rent it again. The only thing we would have liked was an ice tray.

The house was clean and efficient for our family. A 5min walk into town and in a very quiet neighbourhood. Baddeck is a lovely town, great coffee at the village people coffee shop and Main Street, Freight shed, Tom’s pizza and Gisele’s all serve delicious food. It’s perfectly situated for day trips around Cape Breton Island. I can’t recommend North River Kayak enough. We had a perfect day on the water with them. Also Captain Markus’sWhale watching in Pleasant Bay was wonderful. We saw two big pods of pilot whales. Will certainly be back to explore Cape Breton again.

Nice home. It’s very clean with a comfortable bed. Easy check-in. Neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Close to the town center with lots of great restaurants. Coffee was provided. The only drinking receptacles are mugs, wine glasses & a beer stein. I thought it odd drinking glasses for water were not provided until I went to a local cafe for breakfast & water was served in a coffee mug. Maybe this is how it’s done in Baddeck?? Also no ice cube tray in the freezer to make ice was available. Still would recommend the “Little Oasis” for a stay in Baddeck.

The house was a wonderful base for exploration in the area. Thoughtful touches like children’s books were available for downtime. The kitchen and other amenities are family friendly and summer in Baddeck offers many wonders including a fine professional theatre, Kitson Island for a beach day, good museums and lots of good places to eat.

This was such a fabulous place to stay! Super clean and had everything we needed. Perfect location, on a nice quiet street and very close to everything you want. Our host was very easy to get ahold of and was of great assistance. We would highly recommend this property!

We enjoyed this place very much. According to the listing, there should have been a hot tub but we never found it!!!

Very comfortable for a stay any time of year in a quiet and friendly neighborhood . The town is walking distance to the centre of the village and marina and very close to the Alexander Bell museum. In October the Celtic Colours festival brings many concerts and ceilidhs. In the winter one can find places and trails for cross country skiing and snow shoeing a short distance from the village.

It was clean and exactly as advertised. Very convenient and quiet location that was close to the town centre. The bathroom was quite spacious which is something these days and the shower was exquisite! Has everything you need!

Tidy little house, and convenient to town. An easy and lovely walk to wharf and 3 walking blocks to the Alexander Bell museum. If you like small town theatre, you’re up the street from the Baddeck Theatre. It’s great.

The house was very clean and equipped with everything one would need. Despite the owner’s far distance, she solved any issues in mere minutes. I would definitely try to stay there again if I’m in the Baddeck area in the future. Thanks.
