This is a Pay it Forward cabin, I did my part you do yours, Thank You

The peacefulness of this location, the views. the little dome only a 10-minute walk to Wrights Lake.
This cabin is approximately 800 square feet, with a loft, with a queen bed and futon couch. Downstairs or on the main floor is the kitchen area, living area with a fold out couch chairs and the bathroom with standard bathtub and shower. There is also a laundry room. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, blender, toaster, pots and pans along with cooking and eating utensils.

The water in this Little Dome, is from a well, the well water is approx. 104 degrees at the well, It is natural warm water from the geothermal in the area.
I suggest you bring drinking water, although some drink it, it just is what it is.

Cabin price based on 2 people all extra guest and pet are $20 more per pet or guest per night. Make sure you add pets as guest and verify all before arrival. This is your home and others in the mountains, surprises are good but not the type that is to sneak one over on Jeff or the other guests on the property. Like you tell me one pet and got 5, or one guest and I arrive to find a tent and a camper. Thank You, All and Jeff

If you bring extra guests (people or pets) and did not include when booking it is best, you inform Jeff immediately and /or use the drop box on the property located at Jeff's house. If you do not inform Jeff/use the drop box, you will be charged double when leave. This will come out of your damage deposit. That is $40 per night for each and not $20. HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY. (OR) you will lose your deposit. I am tired of people not the pets trying to get over on me and me letting it happen. It took too many years to fix these places up, never getting paid and now, I just wanted to be treated as I ask. Thank You Jeff and all honest guests!

LEAVE AS FOUND OR BETTER
THIS IS YOUR HOME AND OTHERS IN THE MOUNTAINS.

No wood stove here a pellet stove I try to keep a bag of pellets at the Dome
also, there is a gas stove and some electric heaters.
Please turn all heaters off or to low when leave. I may not show-up before the next guest, so I ask them how the previous guest left, please respect all, enjoy.

IT IS SUGGESTED YOU BRING THE FOLLOWING,
Remember, this is your cabin and others in the mountains Cheers
Linens or sleeping bags and pillowcases
Towels and dish cloths
Toilet paper and paper towels
Trash Bags
Provided are pillows and blankets, not pillowcases

All can be provided for a fee, but advanced notice is a must, minimum cost is $25 per bed, includes bedding (top and bottom sheet), 2 pillowcases, 2 towels, 2 wash cloths.

For outside fire, bring wood or clean up the forest around, Do Not Burn any of the old Cedar trees or logs, just the pine and cottonwood

Outside there is a gas grill, charcoal grill and a fire pit.

Bring Firewood, whenever possible, for outside campfires or go to Bunnylane and buy.

Outside there is a gas grill, charcoal grill, and a fire pit.

PLEASE, be respectful of all and leave clean. Please remind children to do the same, clean-up after any pets.

THE DISHES ARE CLEAN AND PUT AWAY, AND THE COUNTERS LEFT CLEAN AS THE REST OF THE CABIN / Little DOME

FLOORS ARE CLEAN AND ALL RUGS HAVE BEEN SHAKEN OUT AND PUT BACK AS FOUND.
If the floor is wood then sweep, there are brooms and dust pans for you to use.' also a mop and mop bucket.

If the previous guest left anything wrong, please inform me ASAP so I can stop them from getting their deposit back according to what they did. Thanks

ALL GARBAGE HAULED OFF, IF DUMPSTER AVAILABLE AT BUNNYLANE THEN PUT IN IT.

There is a dumpster at Bunnylane Cabins approx. 1/2 mile away beside Wrights Lake, where Jeff lives. Leave your trash in the dumpster.
The Dumpster is as you drive down CR 291 past the cabins and just before the lake on the left side you will see a propane tank and a metal dumpster.
Thank You
Jeff

DO NOT LEAVE ANY TRASH IN BUILDING OR OUTSIDE EXPOSED TO THE ELEMENTS, LIKE BEARS, BIRDS AND WIND.
ANY ITEM NOT DONE WILL BE A $50.00 DEDUCTION FROM YOUR DEPOSIT or lose your deposit and for those that gave their word and not a deposit, Jeff can send them a bill requesting the full damage deposit or whatever he feels reasonable. See the Availability/Reservations link at the bottom Do Not Get on the Bad List
COMMENTS ARE APPRECIATED. I CANNOT CONTROL EVERYTHING, AS I LEAVE THAT UP TO EACH OF MY GUESTS

I want people to spend time together not by texting but by bonding as the old days. I will give you the password, but I do not want downloading movies or streaming music, it will slow or shut down from overuse, business only.
Do not give to children tell them to play games, puzzles, catch/kick ball, enjoy the outdoors

I am planning to get internet at the Little Dome for those that have business to do, I can understand needing the internet but not wanting to live with it.
Ask if I have got it yet

Super cute place with an amazing view! It was perfect for a cozy winter getaway. Could've been cleaner, but I guess that was up to the previous guest.

The Little Dome was just what we needed for our stay! We explored the area, adventured to places we had been before and some new places. The Little Dome wasat the center of it all, and made a wonderful home base! The host was gracious and kept us well informed with what was needed. From the start we knew that there were some things that we needed to bring along, and that was not a problem - we even liked having our own stuff. We did not cook at the Little Dome, but the kitchen was well stocked with what was needed to cook. Central location and excellent host - we look forward to staying again next time we are in the area!

The location with fishing in mind is very good. The dome has the sleeping bed in the loft. There’s no AC and no windows that open in the loft so it was too hot to use. We slept on the fold out sofa. Only 2 windows down stairs open so it was still hot but the fans made it OK. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with pans and even a crockpot so we able to cook there. The deck is very nice with a wonderful view of the mountains.

I rented the Little Dome for a couple of days just to relax and enjoy the quiet. This place was a perfect retreat for that. I enjoyed being near Chalk Creek and took advantage of a nearby waterfall hike. The lake in the listing was disappointing though since there isn't actually a lake right now, but I found other water sources. My pup and I had a great couple of days.

I would love to stay at the Little Dome again! Just what I needed while visiting family in the area. The yard offers it’s own adventure and that creek along the edge is beautiful with crystal water. The view of the chalk cliffs every morning and evening, and that grassland below that’s home to rabbits and prairie dogs! Lots to explore around there. Thanks for sharing!

We loved our stay at little dome! The location is perfect for a base camp. It was close enough to drive to Independence pass, twin lakes, Leadville, turquoise lake, and only about 2 hours to Silverthorne. Not to mention only 5 minutes away from Chalk Creek, and Browns creek trailhead. My husband and I also really enjoyed the fact that we were tucked away from everything else. It had all the essentials we needed and it was felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again next time we roll through Nathrop.

We had a nice, relaxing stay at Little Dome, which was a great base for a variety of activities - swimming at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs, a trip to St. Elmo, mountain biking, meals in Buena Vista, etc.

The stairway to the door is without a railing. The stairway to the loft is treacherous and noisy. The wood floors are very noisy. The hot water heater is the noisiest. The owner has a note on what is causing all the noise. The whole place had to be aired out before we moved in. I think it may be the water heater. Had to leave windows open even when it was quite cold out. We would like some compensation for this rental. It should be taken off your site.
