Stayed Sep 16, 2025A quaint cabin. Perfect for the two of us. Loved that it was stocked in the kitchen! Perfectly comfortable. Only downside is the steep stairs which you have to maneuver to get downstairs to the bathroom at night. Great location to get to the park! Even had elk in the yard one evening!!

Stayed Sep 8, 2025If you’re looking for a cozy getaway in Greenwater, stop scrolling, you’ve found it! The cabin is so cute, peaceful, and has everything you need to either fully relax or pretend you’re running away from society. The host is amazing, though I admit I’m biased since she’s a dear friend of mine. But don’t just take my word for it!, check out her Instagram @rainierblooms and you’ll see she grows the most gorgeous dahlias you’ll ever lay eyes on. If someone can make flowers look that good, you can trust she knows how to make a cabin stay just as stunning. 10/10 recommend, though now I’m mad at myself for telling everyone about this hidden gem because I want it all to myself.

Stayed Aug 7, 2025Very nice property, clean and worked well for three of us (myself, wife, and adult daughter). Excellent location to all the great hiking areas. We visited Sunrise and Paradise. Great location for skiing in the winter . Little Town of Greenwater was neat. Friendly folks, meet a neighbor in the shop down the street. The shop has nice merchandise and a great little cafe with very good milkshakes after a long hike.

Stayed Jul 11, 2025It was perfect for our visit. We wanted to be close to our kids and grandkids. This worked out very well. The wildlife that was in the yard was a bonus. Our grandkids got to see Elk up close and personal.

Stayed Sep 13, 2024Cozy but would have liked to have known about narrow rainless staircase. We’re 84 and my husband is over weight and has a knee replacement .BUT everything went welll. Such a masterful use of space. WINDERING…..cannot find my handcrafted wool journal. Has many haikus and reflections. It’s primarily brown with designs. Please let me know either way. It breaks my heart to lose it. Sincerely. Marikyn

Stayed Aug 30, 2024We had a great time in the blue house! It feels at home as soon as we arrived. The place is very cozy with lots of amazing decorations. My kids loved playing the musical instruments, watching deers walking past the lawn, and playing Wii games upstairs. Our weekend was during a heat wave but it feels cool downstairs and the AC works to cool the upstairs effectively. The house is in a convenient location with gas station, restaurant, grocery stores and even a street taco stand nearby. Would love to come back again in Winter!

Stayed Aug 14, 2024Loved having big Elk in the front yard upon our arrival! Cute, clean house and perfect for our needs. I was so surprised to have so much food and condiments in cupboards, refrigerator & freezer which was a nice touch. The stairs seemed a little steep for us 2 older folks but we managed. Thank you for all your cute touches!

Stayed Jul 18, 2024The Little Blue House was the perfect place to stay with my husband for our honeymoon! We were about an hour away from the Sunrise entrance at Mount Rainier National Park and an hour and a half from the Paradise entrance to Mount Rainier. It’s one of the closest places you can stay near the mountain without having to bring a camper or tent. The house had great tasting water to pack in our book bags for the hikes. There is a town about 20 minutes away where you can go to the grocery store and grab anything you might need. There are also a ton of food places there. By the house is Naches Tavern (great burgers) and the Outfitters store which we went to for ice cream. The house was nice and cool and had a perfect kitchen for cooking meals in. We had elk in the front yard one of the nights! Highly recommend staying at the little blue house if you’re planning a trip to Mount Rainier!
