Li'l Piece of Heaven-Stunning Views-Amenities Galore plus A/C-Unwind in Bliss!

Amazing stay once again! The cabin is always clean and the location is absolutely perfect. Already planning to return!

Outstanding view from living room, dining room and master bedroom, creating a super relaxing vibe. Upbeat decorations throughout the home. Uniquely beautiful end tables! There was a good collection of information for local activities. House was well-stocked with towels and clothes hangers. House condition was excellent.House was on a very quiet cul-de-sac. Its location, southeast of the downtown Pagosa Springs business district, allows fast trips if you are heading east and south of the town center. The house is located ten to 25 minutes from a variety of restaurants.We enjoyed a relaxing day-trip soak at The Springs Resort, which was only a 10-minute drive from the house. (There are other choices to dip in hot springs, including free public access, also close to the house.)The Piedra River Trail was our favorite hike. Treasure Falls Trail is a short drive to a short hike - maybe you'll be lucky, as we were, to see a rainbow at the falls.Elk Heart Outfitters Trail Rides, 20 minutes from the house, provided a nice horseback ride, through beautiful scenery.You can drive one hour south of the house to Chama, NM to ride the historic Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. It's a fun experience winding through Colorado and New Mexico.Nearby useful stores for food and household items include: City Market, Natural Grocers, Walmart and the especially helpful and well-stocked Ace Hardware.We highly recommend this comfortable and beautiful vacation home.

The home was AMAZING! Great location with a secluded feel, but in close proximity to Pagosa Springs. The owners/hosts communicated very well, were responsive, and showed us great hospitality! Everything about the house made it feel like a luxurious mountain getaway. We would definitely book again!

We stayed for a week and this home was perfect for our family of four. We had everything we needed to feel as if we were in the comfort of our own home. Proximity to town was great and also to Wolf Creek. The space provided more than enough room for all of us to not feel cramped. We wouldn’t hesitate to book here again if we are back in Pagosa. And the view was one of the main features we enjoyed!

We had an amazing stay! The house is just as pictured, we couldn’t have asked for more! The beds are incredibly comfortable and the property is easy access to town and all the places we wanted to visit. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit!

What a peaceful retreat! This home was absolutely beautiful with attention to details that made this stay easy and welcoming and relaxing. Communication with the host was excellent. Waking up to the view of the mountains out the bedroom slider a treat. We found the location very convenient. The main reason we were there was skiing at Wolf Creek. It was an easy commute there and then very quick to get into town to get what we needed. We also spent a day exploring Pagosa and another day exploring Durango. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and will book here again for our next trip to Wolf Creek. Thank you!

Lil piece of heaven is what it is. Quiet, relaxing, views are Amazing, home was exactly as described and more. Renovations to the home had this place updated with the best.

We stayed at this cabin five years ago under different ownership. We are so impressed with all the wonderful improvements that were made on the inside of this house by the new owners - Carol and Jim. The new improvements were so numerous and it makes this property an absolute gem - inside and out. Five years ago when we stayed here, there was no beating the views and the views are still just as incredible. One of the most beautiful VRBO's we have experienced. Thank you! We will be back!!

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Pagosa Springs! It's beautiful, very clean, and a perfect place to relax. Everything inside was just as described, and we really enjoyed our time there.The only thing worth noting is that the neighbor’s dogs were around quite a bit. They barked when we arrived, lounged on the back deck and outdoor furniture, and hung out near the doors as if it was their space. We didn’t let them inside, and we personally didn’t mind since we are dog people, but it could be intimidating for someone who isn’t as comfortable with animals.Overall, it was a great stay, and I’d recommend it!

This is our third stay at this cabin and it was absolute perfection as always. The location is great and views are stunning. The cabin itself is spotless and had everything we needed. Already planning our return!

Family vacation, great location for time in Pagosa Springs, hikes and the SDNG Train in Durango

From the location, stunning views, wonderful layout, lovely decor and…the owners thought of everything you might need as a guest. Plenty of outdoor space, seating and multi level views in the back made star gazing and having morning coffee special. The neighbors dogs were a surprise addition to us dog lovers! Carol and Jim were fast to respond and always kind. We will be staying here next time we come to Pagosa. So honored that they share their little piece of heaven!

Beautiful view of the San Juan mountains! House is located near the main part of city…yet quiet , private and peaceful. We’ve been looking for a location/house like this every year for the last 12 years. We come to Pagosa Springs at least once a year. This little piece of Heaven was what I hope Heaven is like. Loved it and the host was awesome! Highly recommend!

It was close to town, clean, easy communication, beautiful view, and a very comfortable stay!

From the minute we walked in the door, we felt at home in this well-kept mountain home! Only about 30 min drive to Wolf Creek Ski Area and 10 minutes to the Hot Springs. We loved sitting on the porch and soaking in the incredible mountain views. Carol and Jim are so kind and are excellent communicators!

We spent 5 nights in this beautiful cabin and loved every minute. The accommodations were perfect. Every single need was anticipated. Beds & furnishings comfortable and the views could not be beat! It was the perfect place to relax for our family of 5 after full days of snow skiing. We received 18 of snow while there and had all we needed to rough it while the power was temporarily out. Even snow shovels to help get out of the driveway. (We do recommend snow chains if you don't have 4wd as the house is in a bit of a remote area) We will absolutely be staying again when in the area for family vacation.

We brought our family to come ski at Wolf Creek - great place to rest and unwind from a day on the slopes. The house was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. Owners were responsive to needs and questions. Highly recommend!! Thanks for a great stay.

This is one of the best properties we have ever rented through VRBO. Beautifully appointed, wonderful area, convenient to town and skiing and some of the most breathtaking views you can imagine! It made the perfect retreat for our family of 3 for a quick post-Christmas getaway. The kitchen was well stocked and details very thoughtful. Property owners were communicative and easy to work with - hope we can come stay again!

We stayed at Li’l Piece of Heaven during our trip to ski at Wolf Creek before Christmas (27 minute drive to Wolf Creek). We were supposed to see a little Christmas tree in the house as well. Let me just start with the views! The view from the back of the house/living room/kitchen and master bedroom has breathtaking views of the mountains in the distance along with the moon rising directly over the mountains as well. What a magical treat! The sunrise peeks through the trees from the master bedroom view. Also a treat! Our hosts forgot nothing to add to the comfort of our stay. If you forgot a toothbrush, coffee filters, laundry det, dish soap, medical supplies, not a problem. The best VRBO experience ever! We also drove 12 hours overnight from Texas and Carol was gracious enough to let us check in early! Gave us time to get settled and rest! A lifesaver! The house was so clean, well decorated and furnished with every kitchen item you could need. The beds and pillows were super comfy too. The glove/boot dryer had our gloves dry for another day of skiing which was great! If we get to come back we will definitely stay here again! Thank you Carol and Jim for sharing your beautiful home! We loved every minute there! .

Wow!! My husband and I opened the front door and we both said, “Look at that view!!” I could have just stayed on the deck the entire time! Just beautiful! We have stayed in many VRBO homes but none have had the attention to detail this home has. The quality of the kitchen ware was excellent and everything we needed was there. The home was decorated with beautiful artwork. We even found a piece in one of the local art shops and bought it. When we were able to tear ourselves away from the house, we did three different hikes. We saw a beautiful red fox in the neighborhood. We will definitely be back!! Thank you Jim and Carol for sharing your beautiful home with us!

We had great time staying at the L’il Piece of Heaven. The views from the house were immaculate as we watched the sunrise everyday. We also enjoyed daily visits from a group of deer in the backyard. Interior of the house was also immaculate with all the comforts of home.
