This property is beautiful and clean! We booked this place for a girls trip and had plenty of room. The house was clean and the host had great communication. We would recommend this place and would stay here again!

The hosts were extremely accommodating and friendly. They let our kids do all kinds of stuff as the property is quite large with animals, ponds, etc. The house is absolutely gorgeous and very clean. It's so close to town, so you can pop in and out of downtown Galena at will. Can't say enough about the experience! We hope to come back in the future.

We loved our overnight at this property! It fit our family perfectly-all the rooms and shared spaces were huge! There was plenty of room to sit and eat/be together. Also the outdoor spaces were wonderful. The hot tub was a hit as were the goats! So fun for kids and adults alike!! We'd come back here anytime.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Close to town but far enough to enjoy all things country. Less than a 5-minute drive to downtown Galena, this property was absolutely perfect. Our family will absolutely check this property first when we come back to the area.Do yourself a favor: book the property.

Hot tub was great, everything was clean. We loved it!

We had an amazing time here. Seeing the new born lambs was definitely the highlight of staying here! We had a group of ten, and there was plenty of room to fit us all, as well as plenty of towels and dish ware. Theresa, the host, was responsive, welcoming, and very friendly. I will absolutely be staying here again next time I head up to Galena!!

Our book club of 7 had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home! It was immaculate and well equipped with everything we needed. And the property outside is gorgeous!! An added bonus was the sweet sheep and baby lambs! Delightful!

Wonderful home and good communication from the host. My friends and I only stayed for one night for a weekend trip and had a great time. We all wish we could have stayed longer.

The property is well maintained. There was a ton of room for the five of us. The home is like brand new and so well cared for. The hot tub was perfect; warm, clean, and roomy. It was close enough to town to get there for shopping and meals, but far enough to be secluded.

The space was amazing, the view was wonderful, such a great surprise to be able to pet the sheep, and the hot tub was perfect the Hosts could not have been friendlier such a joy

This was our 2nd stay in this fantastic house! This time there was a snow storm. During that time the drive was cleared twice, sidewalks cleaned and the owner asked if we needed anything at all. Wonderful hosts. The house is spotless and very comfortable. Plenty of kitchen ware, blankets, towels, games, etc. We would all definitely stay again!

Beautiful, spacious home! It was amazing that all seven of my girlfriends and I could be in the kitchen at the same time getting our Friendsgiving feast ready—and miraculously not bumping into each other or starting a food fight. The owner was super responsive every time I reached out, which made everything a breeze. The hot tub was absolutely amazing. We soaked under the stars like we were in a luxury spa… just with more giggling. Fantastic stay! Definitely a must stay!

Our group had an amazing time here. The proximity to Galena was very convenient, but the rental felt extremely removed/rural. We enjoyed watching sheep and deer roam around the property. The place was clean and we had plenty of space. The hot tub was a definite bonus!

Great place. Large could handle more than us 4. 4 couples easy.Beautiful countryside. Next to sheep pens. They where really cute and vocal! Deer and wild turkeys every morning. Hot tub, pool table and TV really nice. Great communication from host.

This location is close to town, but of the beaten path. Lots of open communal space and things to do, even off its just a stroll around the property (they have sheep, turkeys, and other friends as well)! Be sure to be home by dusk, as the picture window (and back patio with hot tub) have a beautiful sunset view!

This home is the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, privacy, nature and modern amenities. Not to mention the owners were extremely friendly and hospitable with our children and luckily had the time to show us around this 25 acre property. The home is very cozy and modern, the rooms are very clean and comfortable and the view is picturesque. It’s located conveniently close to Main Street Galena where I was able to pick up coffee in less than a 20 min trip. We look forward to coming back and sharing this best kept secret with friends and family.

This house was perfect for our family get-a-way. Due to hot temps and thunderstorms we spent more time at the house than anticipated. It was great! We loved the hot tub, pool table, and the huge tv. The property is secluded, quiet and beautiful. My kids loved the neighboring sheep, they were pretty entertaining. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It’s a quick easy drive into downtown Galena. We all want to come back!

Our stay was amazing! The pictures do not do it justice! It’s an absolutely beautiful property! We had a group of 8 and we were all very comfortable our entire stay! Extremely comfortable beds! Absolutely beautiful wood work throughout the entire house! Lots of room! Hot tub worked great! Lots of outdoor spaces and seating areas if you need a break away from your group! We did wish the fire spot was a little closer to the house but it’s big enough for everyone and surrounded by beautiful scenery to enjoy along with very happy talkative sheep right next to you! Very peaceful little spot! Perfect getaway for a group of girls who love the wilderness! It’s also very close to town and a beautiful kayaking spot! 10 out of 10 definitely recommend and we hope to be backsoon on our next girls trip to Galena! Pictures definitely didn’t do this one justice! We were completely shocked how amazing it was once we arrived!

We had a weekend planned in Galena. My daughter’s bachelorette party. We did a wine tour all day and then arrived back to the house for the evening. Very spacious home and the girls loved the hot tub. Kitchen was perfect for entertaining. Beds were comfy and nice big bathrooms. I would definitely stay here again !

This house was exactly how listed. It was clean, well stocked (only thing missing was a wine bottle opener) and had a great hot tub.

My wife and I booked this place with two other couples for a weekend friends getaway. We had a blast! We actually all agreed our favorite part of our two day trip to Galena was the first night where all we did was stay in and play games, hang in the extra large hot tub and enjoy each others company. There was a good snow storm and it added to the wonderful experience and ambiance. One of our friends even said this was by far the best VRBO I've ever been in and we agree. It was beautiful, clean, well maintained, and the host kept great communication. We would book this place again in a heartbeat.

Great country home, close to Galena. We all loved the sheep and deer! The Bigfoot sighting was so cool!

My friends and I came up for a quick snowboard trip and the house was everything we could have asked for. Clean and spacious. Close to the town. The hosts were amazing and when we had any issues or questions, they responded back promptly. Highly recommend staying here. We will be back here for all of our Galena trips.

We celebrated our Christmas eve and Christmas day at this lovely home. We brought our own mini-travel Christmas tree to discover when we got there a tree already set up! We were able to put our presents under the tree and have a lovely family gathering being together. This home was a perfect place to celebrate. The hot tub was welcome for the cold evenings and shopping in Galena on the 24th and 26th were great! The location is fantastic. The house was comfortable. We were able to cook a Christmas dinner and many other meals. Would highly recommend!

This house is gorgeous! Comfortable family room and beds. I loved my bed!!! We saw deer, sheep, hawks and squirrels! That was the icing on the cake!!! The owners are very prompt with replies and I felt very welcomed! I’ll be back!

House was very clean. The property was beautiful. The sheep might’ve been the best view to wake up to! Property was easy to access even at night. We realized WAZE took you to the wrong house so I suggest using Google maps or Apple Maps when going. Beds were comfortable and the showers were beautiful. Theresa was easy to get ahold of and helpful! We will definitely be back!

I stayed here for my wedding with my spouse and our close friends. We were all amazed at the quality for a fair price, which is hard to find these days. We all played pool, laid in the hottub, and visited sheep. We had a blast, and we never had to look too far if we needed anything at all. Plenty of outdoor space to take a private moment with a beautiful view. Check in and out was sesmless.

Kids loved the hot tub and time in the basement/game room playing pool and foosball. Loved seeing the sheep at the property next-door and also saw some deer in the yard around dusk. Near enough the action of Galena (and Walmart for unexpected grocery needs) but the beautiful property and private setting were ideal for us. The views from the house, multiple eating/viewing areas, hot tub, open layout of main living areas, beautiful showers, and large main bedroom were all ideal. We loved seeing the sheep, deer, squirrels and wild turkeys. Everything was clean and comfortable. We all recommend this vrbo, and are grateful for the opportunity to stay here. Owners were very nice.
