Light-filled home with fenced yard - two dogs welcome - walk everywhere

This home is spacious, well lit from windows and very clean. The kitchen and bathroom are sized for comfortable family use. However, the bed was so hard that we did not sleep well and awakened each day with sore backs. Likewise the sofa cushions were broken down in the middle and sank down into the well where the sofa bed resides. As we were cycling every day, we needed some comfortable furniture in the evenings.

We loved staying at this property. It was so clean and new. The layout of the house is great; large bathroom and family area. Walking distance to the marina, grocery story, whale watching tour and downtown. Very close to the ferry port, hiking trails and sea kyaking. Easy to get to Friday Harbor and the other islands. My only suggestion would be to have a binder with information about the home and area. We couldn't figure out how to work the air conditioning which was ok because it was cool enough with the window open but it would be nice to have some instructions. Also, the adjustor on the shower head wasn't keeping it up and we couldn't find any information on who to call. We found an extra shower head in the bathroom drawer so we just installed that one instead and it was fine.

This was a clean house and located in historic downtown anacortes. It has a very small yard and is on a property with 2 other units. The house is accessed from the back alley and is very close to a neighboring property. It has a nicely equipped kitchen, a large bathroom with plenty of extra towels, and the beds were comfortable. It was a great spot for us to stay while catching a ferry for a day trip to the San Juan’s.

I would live here. Cute little cottage. Shower needs new caulking, but overall very clean and comfortable and close to lots of restaurants and the marina, also a great spa all walkable.Saturday farmers market right by the place.

This would be a great place if it didn’t have so much wrong with it. The air conditioning does not work and the same unit, which is supposed to heat doesn’t do that either. There was no remote for the tv so that was not useable. The over head fan and light remote control is inoperable and the bracket holding it on the wall was broken.The porch light blinks off and on. The bathroom sink barely drains. The shower grout is in terrible shape so mold and mildew is growing. The refrigerator was dirty when we arrived. The shower floor is dangerously slippery and no rubber mat was provided, so had to use a towel on the shower floor. All of this was reported to Vacasa with promises that the issues “were escalated to local staff” but no one ever responded. The first call, made on the second day of a week long stay was disconnected after I got to item three on my list, I called back and had to start over. I texted three times and was met with empty promises. All of this is too bad, because it could be a great place with proper management.

We had a great time here! It was a little crowded for our family of 4 with our 2 small dogs, but the furnishings were very comfortable, the home was very clean, great location for everything we wanted to do while we were there- golf, ferry to Orcas Island, whale-watching (saw a whole family of Orcas!), walking distance to great restaurants, and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Our only question was the AC unit which didn't seem to keep the home cool during the night. It seemed to run fine, but it was a little warm at night. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend!

Absolutely will not be returning. This stay was a nightmare. There was black mold in the bathroom. None of the AC units could cool the house down reasonably. There were crusty stains on the sheets and a brown stain on a blanket. The mattresses were basically rocks. The photos on the listing did not match the actual house (different seating and couch). Was not told about AC problems until they said there would be a tech there an hour before checkout. They did not have the property ready in time (worked out for us because we didn’t get in until late). Could not access any checkout instructions and when I reached out I did not get a reply until 11:02, two minutes after our checkout time. And to top it all off the smell in this complex was clearly that of mold. It’s musty and smells sweaty which are two mold and mildew signs. Absolutely DO NOT stay here. It needs incredibly serious renovation work to ensure there is no more mold.

The house was spacious and clean with a large bathroom. The kitchen is also spacious and would be more than adequate to make a meal for a family. However, the extra firm memory foam mattress was “board stiff” and the sofa cushions are seem very broken down. There wasn’t a way for us to be comfortable with the current furniture. If these things don’t bother you, then the home is nice.

The house was perfect for our family

Property was exactly as advertised. Very well equipped and comfortable - lacking for nothing at all (other than a complaint from my wife that there was no kettle !).Nicely located within easy walking distance of everything in Anacortes.Highly recommended.

This property is recently updated, has a large bathroom and fridge. We found it clean and the parking in the alley was not bad. The neighbors are not sketchy. And the home is close to a lot of nice restaurants and bars. We dined at Anthony’s that is right up the road. I would recommend this property to stay at when you visit Anacortes!

The location is ideal. A short walk to the marina, hiking trails, biking trails, and to downtown with nice restaurants and pubs. This was our second stay here and we will definitely come back.

Convenient location. We stayed here during the Jul 4th week so we got to see the parade a block away from this home as well as the fireworks display at the marina which was half mile of walk away. The house had everything we needed for the week. The A/C kept us comfortable during the warm days. There's also constant breeze through the front door. We also worked part of the week and the wifi held strong through video calls and streaming. The only thing we did not get to enjoy much was the yard, like previous reviews said there's low fence between property so there isn't much privacy and the next door dogs barked at us at first that settled after a few days but we were already turned off to hang out at the yard. It worked out fine as we were mostly outside walking or hiking anyway if we weren't inside playing boardgames or watching tv.

This little house is perfectly situated for vacationers. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it’s cozy and comfortable. The kitchen is bigger than you’d expect, enabling a family to cook together. Each bedroom has its own air conditioner / heating unit. The WiFi and streaming service work well. This is our new go-to vacation spot for a summer getaway!

This was the best place we’ve stayed so far! The location was perfect. Very cute, cozy, well equipped. We really enjoyed it!
