Stayed Jul 31, 2021Very nice stay house has wonderful quirky spaces and was perfect for two couples. We had crazy weather from cold to hot and dry and wet and the house was super through it all

Stayed Jul 1, 2021Ilene’s place was very cozy, and set in beautiful surroundings. Her style and touches were cool and unique, which weren’t as visible in the property photos. Her home manual was very helpful, and she communicated with us to help resolve some issues regarding the water temperature, and answered all our questions about how to store and launch our kayaks (which is a walk down a path or a short drive to the beach). A nice remote retreat in the Berkshires!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We came to ski at skibutternut and stayed here. It was a wonderful place to unwind and super cozy with lots of blankets and places to curl up and read a book. My kids were in heaven because there was space to play, watch TV and play hide and seek. Its pretty spacious and really just lovely. We’re hoping to return in the summer to check out the lake nearby

Stayed Dec 31, 1969House located in the mountains/forest near a lake. Really quiet and rustic setting. House was well-stocked with dish ware, utensils, and all kinds of cooking spices, pots and pans. ,

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is the second summer we've stayed in Ilene's wonderful home, and we're hoping to return for more. The house is light, attractive, sparkling clean and very comfortable. Loads of stuff for our use in the kitchen and for the outdoors. Very quiet, secluded spot with big open deck and screened-in porch. We love swimming and kayaking in beautiful Lake Garfield, playing tennis, and taking long walks in surrounding wooded area. In the evenings, there's music, theater and great restaurants in neighboring towns. Thanks, Ilene, for sharing your beautiful house with us!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We enjoyed staying here. It has a very open feel. Pictures are a good representation. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The electric stove created a nice cozy ambience and was a good place to dry gloves. We enjoyed playing games around the coffee table and watching TV in the evening after a long day of skiing. We were too tired to try out the jacuzzi tub but it was large and could definitely fit two people. It was about 10-15 min from restaurants but a cute general store was only a few minutes away. The only negative is that the washer/dryer is in an unheated basement. We would definitely stay here again.
