This property was perfect and we enjoyed priceless views of the lake and clean and comfortable living and bedroom areas.
It is just a beautiful place to stay. Everything is perfect. We had problems with the dishwasher. I called the owner on a Sunday and someone was there to fix it Monday morning. It is extremely clean and comfortable. I love watching for the freighters to go by. So relaxing!
Enjoy the accommodations provided every thing we would need very comfortable my husband and I were there the first four days our two adult children came in the weekend we all enjoyed the view thank you,Dorothy & Family
Our company needed help with an extended stay for business. Anne was a fantastic host, making check in/check out a breeze, and assisted with an extension of our stay at this beautiful property. Her communication before and during our reservation was fantastic. Put this location on your must visit list. I would not hesitate to book again - GREAT experience!
The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The property is beautiful. We especially enjoyed the boathouse on the warm days. Inside the house was extremely clean and it just seemed it had everything we needed. The electric fireplace was great on the cool mornings. We already booked for next year. We have stayed at other vrbo rentals but this was the best!
Our week couldn’t have been better! The house is beautiful, clean and everything went great. The host was very accommodating and great to communicate with! We will be back! It was fun and relaxing!
We had an amazing stay on the shore of lovely Lake Huron! We got up every morning to enjoy a cup of coffee and the amazing sunrises from one of the many outdoor seating areas placed around the immaculately maintained landscaping. Our kids (14 & 16) spent hours in the water while we enjoyed the views of the passing freighters (and maybe a glass of wine or two). We all loved the inside of the house too. The decor is gorgeous with so many thoughtful touches like a basket of fluffy beach towels, throw pillows, pretty dinnerware, and cute coasters. We had one rainy day so we stayed in and did puzzles, played games, and sat around the fireplace. Although there are two TVs, I don’t think we turned either one on - too many other fun things to do. Another reviewer mentioned the lack of AC in the first floor. Do not let this stop you from renting. There are lots of fans and windows to let in the seemingly ever present fresh breeze off the lake. We were very comfortable, even on a 90 degree day. If you want to venture out, consider 3North wine bar and beer garden in Lexington. Local wine and beer and small plates - all delicious. Lots of quaint shops for gifts, candy and ice cream in downtown Lexington too. Groceries and household shopping at Meijer and Target plus Starbucks and Birchwood Mall, all about 10 miles south in Fort Gratiot/ Pt Huron. Don’t wait, rent this gorgeous home today!
We are originally from this area and were in town from out of state visiting family. Had a wonderful time. The lake is gorgeous! The home was immaculate and very well cared for and well stocked. The host went above and beyond to accommodate us. She is kind and communicative.
Such a beautiful place. Very clean. So close to the water. Very friendly host.
Our kids play travel hockey and had a tournament in Port Huron. Tired of the hotel life, I teamed up with 2 other families when I found Anne's places on VRBO. She was able to accommodate us with a last minute reservation. Her quick communication was greatly appreciated. Upon arrival, the place was extremely clean and heated up for us, which was awesome because our whole stay ranged between 5°-18°F. The kids (12 y/o) had pleanty of room to be kids up stairs and the living room was spacious for us parents to have our space. . This property would definitely be awesome for a vacation during the warmer months and I am currently talking to my wife and sister-in-law about coming back out here in the spring/fall. Our stay consisted of snow covered yards and the boys definitely figured out how to have a good time with that. The walkway and deck were kept shoveled during our visit which was a nice bonus. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, and a blender. The only thing missing were some spices. Usually I am able to find some spices left from previous stay, but I am sure they were all cleared out since our stay was during the off season. All in all, this was a great experience and we will definitely try to come back here the next time our boys play out this way.
